Was at my local used bookstore, I love that they are doing a blind date with a book promotion.There were a couple of folks looking at the descriptions ,hoping to find a promising prospect!👏❤️

Oh my stars, do I have stories! When I was in college we had "Screw Your Roommate Dates" where you set up your roommate or friend on a date, so those were interesting! But my favorite was a friend wanted me to have a date for our camp out, but she set me up with a guy who I didn't really like & he ended up hooking up with her roommate at the camp out! ??

I've been on a few blind dates is the past, all were bad.
My worst #blinddate was a guy that would constantly make bad jokes, make fun of me and poke me throughout the date then say "nanner nanner" afterwards.....EVERYTIME! ?

Honest opinions needed please: just wrapping my books for the blind date with a book swop and I loved the paper but it‘s really hard to write on! 🙄 wondering if I should rewrap them so it‘s easier to read the descriptions! 🤔 what do you think???

@readsusieread This is how we have our blind date with a book. Instead on patrons picking a book out based on a clue, the books are curated based on a survey they fill out letting us know what‘s their favorite book, author, genres, etc. It‘s a pretty small college, so the library has this luxury of giving more personal selections.
It‘s been so much fun picking them out and imagining where these books will take them! 💝

Jobs can be abusive too. And just like an abusive boyfriend/spouse, while it is hard to leave, you HAVE to leave. It will not get better. It‘s scary, but go. Now I need to take that advice.

My local library had a book blind date shelf and I picked this one up. I picked it because of the word "Gothic." The rules say that I can't open the package until I get home. Any guesses while I drive home?
