Thumbs down bc this kind of writing makes me angry- not bc the story was bad. When the kindle died I was stuck for those few hours with what was on my phone. Made the mistake of reading this in a free anthology. Every single (I‘ve read 2) in this anthology ends literally in the middle of the story and refers you to book two of that series. I despise when authors do this. I forgot this happened with the previous book🤦‍♀️

Cute novella in this series. This series is so freaking good. Romance, laughter, hot men- I love it. Check it out!

Pretty sure this was free? Free but good, which was a pleasant surprise when I realized I had to revert to my phone bc cold kills your kindle battery 🤦‍♀️ waterproof but scared of 40 degree weather- do better amazon. My gen 1 was indestructible. I digress. Really robust characters and plot. Medium spice. Very pleasantly surprised.

These just honestly feel like book hugs. Copious sexy time in this one compared to book one.

We‘ve been up north in MI with no cell service since Thursday night so these are all coming at ya! This was such a fun read. Low to no drama, I would term it a cozy romance. Totally get the hype.

Read this at the recommendation of my sister. While I enjoyed it, I don‘t think it was quite what I was expecting- not super romantic. Fun and fast read though.

Parts of this were excellent, parts very very slow. Copious death and I think GRRM might actually hate pregnant women. Freud would have a field day with that. Overall I liked it. The style was different but not bad. #readingwesteros

At 37, I‘ve recently been diagnosed with ADHD. It definitely brings a lot into focus. That being said, with the busiest time of year for us, and trying to figure this out I feel even more scattered than normal lol. I absolutely adored this book! Great settings, great characters. I‘ve already started book two on Everand.

I get caught up to fall behind again 😂 Yesterday we found out our male dog Chappie has a pretty significant skin infection- treatable but expensive. Today was my baby‘s 4th bday 😭 taking a bit of time to myself tonight :)

Hubs got a wild hare up his butt on Monday and decided we were going to completely rearrange the house. It‘s caused a lot of extra work and cleaning but has resulted in this :)

I‘m not a knitter so there were far too many intricate knitting details for me. But this cast of characters was awesome and made you root for them. There was a team approach vs do it alone sleuth that I loved. I had the killer at one of two people, so not a ton of mystery there. Overall though it was a very good story! I‘ll definitely read more.

Stumbled across this and was intrigued about her story. It‘s a bit of an odd book. Parts of it read very election season specific. However the behind the scenes peek into Washington is somehow more appalling than I‘d expect and my bar is pretty low. Overall, a compelling and fast read. Somewhere between a pick and a so/so. 3.75 stars

This was much better, still a fair amount of skimming. Books 1 and 2 could have been cut down to one book with better editing. I was pulled in by the sci fi idea of cloning which actually played little role. While book 3 (even though it‘s from 04) has some scary parallels to the way we live /permit today, at the end of the day it‘s still rapture fiction. Middling rapture fiction at best. FYI if you‘re Catholic there‘s a few eyebrow raises. 🤦‍♀️

I‘m beginning to think all these reviewers are drunk. This was better than the first but not great. A lot of superfluous detail which equated to a lot of skimming. The author‘s note says Christian‘s should read the whole series before judging. That‘s because this book borders on heretical 😂 so weird.

Idk how to do those collages so here‘s my Halloween aesthetic. Day outside in the cool air followed by coziness. Treats, blankets, warm drinks, and hocus pocus or Halloween town :) #hhs

This read as a political thriller, not at all what I expected. Im intrigued enough by the concept (and having book 3 free) that I‘ll read on. Every single Amazon review is glowing and says how everything comes together in book 3 is worth the wait 🤷‍♀️ maybe then I‘ll wish I hadn‘t scanned so many parts 😂

Not as bad as my last free read but not good. Book one reads as a novella and ends abruptly. Book two starts with other characters. Nobody has time for that. 😂

Had some scary chest pains over the last few days but drs say im@fine 🤷‍♀️ going to try to slow life down a bit this week and take better care of myself. Currently just feel like im about to get the flu or something.

Just because you can doesn‘t mean you should. This was terrible. Sentence structure, editing, lack of character development, all of it was bad.

While I didn‘t see the reveal coming, this just fell a bit flat for me. For being Salem the town featured little. The romance felt forced and I just didn‘t find myself rooting for any of the characters. 3/5

So many thoughts. I love Westeros which is why it gets a so/so instead of a pan. My gosh did GRRM lose his way with this one. That‘s why we don‘t have a new book- he‘s mucked everything up and doesn‘t know how to fix it 😂 Not to mention parts of this just felt self indulgent vs actually moving the plot. Oy vey. I have to reconcile that neither he nor Rothfuss will ever finish :/ #ReadingWesteros
