I liked Icebreaker but I actually enjoyed this one more. Camp was fun and revisiting favorite characters is always a good time. Plenty of spice, too.

1. Nothing specific but I love getting lost in the stacks and coming out with a stack of books to check out!
2. I try to utilize the library as much as possible but I also like to support indie bookstores!

This first seemed too similar to the first book in the series, but then the plot veered and I wound up liking it much more. The characters are very relatable: both Russ and Rory have serious issues with their parents, but he's responded by trying not to attract any attention, and she's responded by acting out for negative attention. Working at summer camp together, they learn to trust and rely on one another.
“I don't trust poetry. You think you're reading about an intense love story, but then you find out it's actually about a shoe.“
My sister got my son the entire collection of The Land Before Time (14 dinosaur movies!) - so while he soaks that in an hour each night, I have time to do some #Audiocrafting and #Audiocolouring with these fun reads. #LittensLoveRomance #IDLR #InDeathLongReadalong
I'm late to this party...life got messy...I misplaced this one and refused to buy another because hellloòo I already had a copy. This one is strongly sweet while being totally spicy. Very cute read. I liked it better then Icebreaker actually. #LittensLoveRomance #bookspin @thearomaofbooks
The second book in the series. Two summer camp counsellors reconnect after a one night fling. Russ and Aurora are both students at Maple Hills, their paths cross at the end of academic year. They bump into each other on the first day of summer camp, both fleeing their complicated home lives. One issue there is one rule every counsellor has to abide by ‘No relationships between any staff member‘. Will they or won‘t they? A spicy summer romance 💕

1. Take my dad for a scan at the hospital and buy more dog kibble 🐶
2. A vet but as soon as I found out that I‘d have to euthanise them, I changed my mind
3. Two holidays in the UK 🇬🇧 A beach house in Cornwall and a log cabin with hot tub in Snowdonia mountains
4. Tagged. I‘m really enjoying it so far. A summer camp romance.
Everyone, consider yourself tagged 💕
This was super cute! A *completely* different story from Icebreaker, so if you're expecting a more traditional "hockey romance", this ain't it. But I loved the way the author handled more complicated family dynamics, and the steam was still steamy.
PS: I'm on vacation, so that's why I've been MIA. Miss you all! ?
I actually liked this! Wasn‘t the biggest fan of icebreaker, and this book showed the author‘s style developing. It was a really sweet story with lovable chemistry from Russ and Aurora. The look into their mental health was treated beautifully, too!
decided to join #roll100 for 2024 while i‘m feeling optimistic about accomplishing reading goals in the new year 😂
my list is entirely audiobooks i have waiting to be listened to in audible and libro.fm. these three are first up in january:
-19. wildfire
-83. the auschwitz escape
-78. tattered stars
While I was reading this I was comparing it to Icebreaker, but that wasn‘t fair. They are COMPLETELY different stories, and I loved that. Russ was cute and kind without annoying me which is something that is hard to do when they are that nice. The book was cute and a great balance to the other book I was reading at the same time. Not groundbreaking, but it made me blush and kick my feet, that‘s what I wanted from it.
I finished Wildfire on Sunday. This was one of my most anticipated reads for October. Tbh I think some of my excitement was from the book title alone because I already pretty much decided on the song by The Wombats as my #bookmusicpairing 🤣 Russ and Aurora meet at a graduation party that results in a one night stand only to find out they are camp counselors at the same camp over the summer. ⬇️
I enjoyed it for what it was. Much like, Icebreaker. Cute, obviously every girls dream but not realistic whatsoever lolz

Cute but predictable.
Like Icebreaker, I enjoyed the split narrative but preferred the guy to the girl.
I love Russ but found Aurora to be terrible. Not as spicy as Icebreaker but an easy read nonetheless.
This was an ARC from NetGalley. It took me 3 months to finish, which should give you insight into how much this book engaged me.
Aurora is pretty terrible. Russ is okay. The writing was hard to read sometimes because no man talks like that. I love Formula 1, but that storyline felt like an afterthought.
I loved Ice Breaker. I loved both Stassie and Nate. Both were very well written characters. But this one didn't do it for me.
