I was mostly annoyed reading this book although I can‘t pinpoint exactly why. Interesting subject matter but not executed very well, I think. Idk, still gathering my thoughts on this one.

I loved this one. I loved the way it felt. It‘s a moody read that really got me hooked, I finished it in 2 days which I wasn‘t expecting. I loved the diversity. I want more reads like this one.
This was alright. I kept expecting more from it but it never came. Cute but it really was meh.
I personally really enjoyed this read. It was also quite funny at times.
This was okay. Kind of dragged on and I found myself just wanting it to end. I didn‘t like the way they kept jumping from past to present. Meh, I wouldn‘t waste your time if you‘re thinking about reading it.
This book was infuriating to read. Don‘t get me wrong, I liked it. But the content had me fuming. Especially Maggie‘s story. I don‘t know, THE PAIN that was inflicted on these women by the men was something I felt so deeply while reading this. “Women‘s desires” is an interesting choice to describe the book. It read more like “suffering at the hands of men” but ok. Lots more I can say about it!
I tried so hard to like this book. Some of it was fun to read but most of it was difficult for me to get through. I‘m shocked at the amount of good reviews I‘ve read about this book. Maybe I just don‘t relate to it; not that McCarthy has made this book about anything a woman can relate to. Idk- sorry!
Been reading this one for a minute now. It isn‘t that I don‘t like it, but I think his writing style/cadence bores me a little. Which is wild because people seemingly love it. Also, I learned a new word: Polysyndeton. Which is what McCarthy‘s writing style is. Anyways, these cowboys are pretty funny and I am liking them.
This was cute. Not a five star read for me, but still enjoyed it.
When I first started this book I had zero interest in reading about Nesta. Now that I‘ve finished, I think she might be my fav character. Along with Cassian. I think I might have even liked this one better than Mist and Fury. 10/10.
I finished this book yesterday morning and I don‘t know what it is, but I can‘t seem to move on to reading another book. I‘m just so stuck on it and its characters. I think I‘m mourning… lol🤍 IDK WHAT TO DO.
10/10. I LOVED this book. I‘m not a chemist but I do have a degree in environmental science. I couldn‘t imagine what it would‘ve been like trying to get my degree in the year 1960. This is an important read that absolutely everyone should read. 💕
They were more than friends, more than confidants, more than allies, and more than lovers. If relationships are a puzzle, then theirs was solved from the get-go- as if someone shook out the box and watched from above as each separate piece landed exactly right, slipping one into the other, fully interlocked, into a picture that made perfect sense.
This book was so adorable. Initially went into it thinking it was going to be corny, lacking depth, with A LOT of spice. But it was surprisingly so much more than that. Loved itttt
Happy new year, readers! I read 27 books last year! Which is the most books I‘ve read in a year since forever ago. This year I want to read 30 (which was my goal last year, that I didn‘t reach. But it‘s ok!) I also want to take more photos of my books this year, which I used to absolutely love doing. So here‘s the first read of the year. 📚
Genuinely curious as to why there is no reviews for this book yet. Was a pretty quick read, not a very satisfying ending but I think it‘s supposed to be that way. 3.5/5 stars. I still think you should read it though 😊
I found this read incredibly infuriating. What was done to Britney is unfathomable and it is a miracle to me that she made it out. As a 90‘s kid, I absolutely loved her and her music growing up. Thus,I loved reading her viewpoint of it all. 🤍🤍🤍 In the words of Chris Crocker, LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE. Like for real.
Kind of predictable, but such a cute story nonetheless. Very, very infatuated with Iwan let me tell you 💕
fucking sad as hell. was not expecting that ending at all. 💔
This one took me a little longer to get through, but it was all worth it in the end 😭🥹🥰💕
I‘m obsessed with this. I wanted more so badly, that I actually paid for the second book in the series. Which I absolutely NEVER do (unless I‘m at strand ofc). But um, yeah. Loved.
I enjoyed it for what it was. Much like, Icebreaker. Cute, obviously every girls dream but not realistic whatsoever lolz
Ugh so good, couldn‘t put it down.
I have mixed feelings. I really liked it, but that ending was so disappointing. Did I miss something?
I LOVED this book. It was very cute and had me literally laughing out loud. Highly recommend. Someone pls give me more fake dating trope reads!!!
I adored this book sm!! My only complaint is the title- I hate it. But CUUUUUUTE ending. 💕💕
I really loved this read. I found it illuminating. These kind of reads are so so important. It is so easy to dismiss a transgender person and claim them as “confused” or whatever the fuck people like to say. The reality is that most people have zero insight on what it‘s actually like and are far too quick to make a comment as if they do. Read a fucking book, as they say. (Read this book)✨
Spicy🥵 like, very. Confused as to why this was called a “hockey romance” by so many people. There was like 2% hockey in this book. And 98% sex. Not nearly as good as I hoped it would be. But still enjoyed it. I like my spice.😜
This was a chill read. Nothing too exciting, in fact kind of corny, but yeah- chill read. Book Lovers was better :)
This book filled me to the brim with love. It Ends With Us is worth reading just to be able to read this one next. I absolutely adore Lily and Atlas‘ love story and I truly do feel the care that colleen hoover took in creating their storyline. Ugh, it‘s just too cute.
I‘m so glad I didn‘t let cancel culture convince me not to read this. I couldn‘t put it down. Straight up, people love to whine. I don‘t see how this book is any better or worse than so many other books I‘ve read- content wise. Don‘t listen to the naysayers- read it.
I read a lot of bad reviews for this book & I almost didn‘t read it but I‘m glad I did. I thought it was funny with some pretty okay writing. Also, very witty. It‘s not the greatest book ever, but I enjoyed it. Also, I think people are confusing hating the main character over the topic at hand, which is how people expect a woman to be and how it completely fucks with us all throughout life. You either get it it or you don‘t. 🤷🏽♀️
I liked this book better than In A Dark, Dark Wood. But, it was still just okay. I liked the ending, I will give it that. P.S is anyone else tired of the alcoholic, “mentally unstable” woman who witnessed something and doesn‘t get believed trope? lol
New read. I wasn‘t a huge fan of In a Dark, Dark Wood but I‘m hoping this one is better. It‘s been sitting on my shelf for years so I thought I‘d finally try it out.
Everyone should read this book at least once in their lives. There is much to be said about it. That‘s all I‘ll say. 🤍
About halfway done with The Poisonwood Bible. I am enjoying it very much. Barbara Kingsolver really knows how to write a book. Also, this is one of my cats, his name is Banjo🤍
I really ate these books up so I can‘t sit here and say they are horrible. BUT ain‘t no way in hell would anyone ever be so supportive of a person playing a family‘s emotions like that. Belly is actually a terrible person. How are you going to be in love with both of the fisher boys? Girl bye that is CRAZY.
I am team Conrad through and through. However, I gotta say… if belly loves Conrad so much how tf is she gonna turn around and be making out with his brother like that? Completely absurd. I honestly hate it. But I love these books lol.
I really, really enjoyed this book. However, there was just so much that I feel could‘ve been left out. I read another review that said it is very “MFA” and I think I agree with that. A lot of it (but not all of it, which I felt was weird) read as a college academic research paper. But such good writing, and of course VERY important topics. I still think everyone should read it. I think I just expected it to be something it wasn‘t (I guess).
Fun fact: I almost never purchase books brand new and exclusively buy from thrift stores. Got all these at Savers tonight. ✨🤍
YAY. The first time I reached my reading goal in like, three years. I blame college. But, I‘m so thrilled!
Wow, what a read! A perfect, well rounded book. Read it.
I watched the tv series adaptation before reading and (of course) the books is way better. Looking forward to reading the rest of the trilogy + the new season.
My heart aches for Jennette and I hope she‘s doing okay. I could not even imagine what it was like to grow up that way. She was my family friends neighbor growing up and we used to see her go on walks. Who would‘ve thought she was going through all that. Anyways, pleasantly surprised about the fantastic writing. Good for her. Writing this couldn‘t have been easy.
