I loved this book! But not because I found it scary. It was the writing, it was just enthralling and so many phrases and descriptions that just resonated. Realized it reminded me of Turn of the screw and Telltale heart, which I also didn‘t find scary, but rather deeply engaging. (This quote was made in jest by a character and cracked me up)

I laugh out loud every time I read this page 🤣if you haven‘t read this book you must pick it up

I just love these books and this was no exception. Great story telling for kids. The new PBS Kids show “Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum” does just as great a job with these stories! 🤦🏼‍♀️

So I‘ll start by saying I love this series. I‘ve read every book. But I feel like I play book bingo waiting for her to use the word “bile”. Every. Book. This was the mark for use #1 🤣

I really wanted to like this book but just didn‘t. I felt like fan fic for the show. Pretty predictable.

I‘m not sure what the deal is with this audiobook but it sounds like every other line was stitched together from different recording sessions. Voice sounds so different it sounds like a different character. Very distracting. Anyone ever run into this with audiobooks?
