Good quote from the book I am reading, How to Find Yourself - Why Looking Inward Is Not the Answer by Brian Rosner
My daughter and I spent the evening at the book store and then reading our books at dinner ❤️

This last book had a lot to accomplish. There are aspects of how everything ended that I love and a few parts that I wish would have gone differently. It was an engaging series and got me out of my book slump!
This book ended on a cliffhanger, and I immediately had to download the last one of the series. The Legends of the First Empire series has brought me out of my reading slump! I listened to the audiobook, and Tim Gerard Reynolds is wonderful.
I am a layperson and don‘t have the educational background to make theological debates on points within the book. I can say that the book presented different aspects of Christ‘s humanity clearly and understandably. I am the type of person who loves to ask why and this book helped me think through lots of questions I had. I read it slowly and reflected on chapters, paragraphs, and even sentences for days!
I listened to the audiobook of Terraform and it was the best way to consume this book. Prop reads the book himself and as a spoken word artist, the audiobook turned out amazing.
I think audiobooks are going to get me out of my reading slump. I love all the books Jonathan Stroud writes!
I have read a fraction of the books I normally read in a year. 2021 has been worse than 2020 🙄 I did just finish this audiobook though. I loved it. It deals with tough topics but I needed a book that would address death in such a tender and beautiful way.
I really enjoy this series! There was a lot of action, all packed in at the end but it kept my attention the whole time. I am interested to see how it will come together in the next book.
I started reading Anna Karenina on Serial Reader. I am enjoying it so far! The app delivers a section each day and it helps me make my way through the classics without giving up.
This has been a blessing to start each day with!
I really enjoyed this book! You should add it to your 2021 “to read” list.
This was a great book and I loved this sentence at the end. It was the perfect way to close the story.
This was a book I wish I would have had 10 years ago amid my Lupus diagnosis. This is a wonderful book that speaks to faith and suffering.
I decided to reread the Stormlight series leading up to Rhythm of War. I should have started back in August like my brother did. Oh well. I am glad that I am rereading because there were details that I have forgotten over the years. I went between a hard copy of the book and the audiobook. I love this series and it is joyful to read it again!
I loved the show Firefly. I thought this graphic novel did a great job capturing the quirky personality of the show.
I listened to the audiobook and it was delightful. It felt like Dolly was right there telling you all about her life and songwriting. I highly recommend the audio version of this book!
The Hallelujah Banquet is an explanation of Revelation. I was delighted to read in the Editor‘s Note that this book was mainly created from a sermon series that Eugene had preached back in 1984. This was what I needed to read in the midst of a pandemic and an intense political season. Eugene gently speaks convicting truths while offering joyful hope. This was my first Netgalley book! I love it and plan on buying a hard copy for my library.
I am so excited because I got my very first NetGalley book by an author that I love!
This was just the book to read after such a busy weekend ❤️
This one didn‘t resonate with me as much as her previous books but the audiobook was good. She has lots of bonus content and it really does feel like she is sitting right next to you.
This book will probably be read by the entire family. We all love listening to Lecrae. I am the fastest reader so I get it first 😉
This is probably an unpopular opinion but I feel meh about this one 😬
Have you ever bought a book over and over again because you kept giving it away? I bought Just Mercy, for the third time, today. This book needs to be read by as many people as possible!
@katy4peas @Marmie7 @Laughterhp - I am pretty excited to read Agatha Christie! I haven‘t read any except Murder On the Orient Express. Do any of these look good to you? I know that a couple of you have read a number of Agatha Christie‘s books.
I have heard great things about this book and I finally got it from the library 🌵❤️
I am really excited about digging into this new book by Esau McCaulley. I have heard wonderful reviews about it on Twitter.
A great book. I borrowed it from the library but I am putting it on my “to buy” list.
I am only two chapters in but this book is beautiful.
I have enjoyed Kristin Cashore‘s writing over the years. I am excited to read this new book. Here is the article that reveals the book cover. https://bookpage.com/features/25589-cover-reveal-winterkeep#....
I borrowed this book from the library. I thought it was a good overall history of the church and it‘s complicity in racism. I am planning on purchasing this book for my library. I want to reference it in the future and be able to loan it out to friends.
I am really excited about this new book!
I cried while reading the introduction. This book is going to be just what I have needed.
I fully expect to have to put this down a few times and take a break. However, I think it is important to read.
This has been the craziest month I‘ve had in a long time. I am just starting my book for #lmpbc 😬. I promise I will finish in time!
I actually enjoyed this book. I was nervous because a lot of prequels I don‘t care for. It kept my attention the whole time and I was still able to hate Snow by the end. I thought that the narrator was good too!
This book ended up being not what I expected. I liked it, but it felt like it was more about the history of the time and how it influenced their writing, not necessarily about their friendship. For some reason I went into the book thinking it would be more about their friendship. 🤷🏻♀️
I am nervous and excited at the same time!
I attended a conference on juvenile sex trafficking and Rebecca Bender was a speaker and workshop leader. This is an intense book about her life and I honestly had to put it down a number of times. However, it is worth it to push past the anxiety. God has done an amazing work in her life and I am better for knowing her story
Any of these sound good to you all? #lmpbc #groupd @InBooksILive @Endowarrior21 @rjsthumbelina
