This is just a reminder that November's book for #BDB #BDBBuddyRead #BDBBookClub is Lover Enshrined. There are 57 chapters, which means we will read 14 chapters for the first three weeks and 15 chapters the last week. Happy Reading!

pickThis book definitely has a well loved troupe, fake marriage. I felt sorry for Katherine and thought Richard was a total asswipe. But then that's what the author wanted the reader to think about the characters. Sound familiar? The plot was predictable; however, the character of Katherine saved the day. So wanted something good to happen for her and that is what kept me interested. 3.5 ⭐️ if the plot had been more polished this could have been a 4.
pickThis is a young adult forbidden romance (student/teacher) though there is only 3 years of age between the two MCs. I felt the romance took a back seat to other things. The story was more about loss and grief. Which I thought the author handled well. Not an earth shattering story but good nonetheless. 3.5 - 4⭐️.

I am working on getting October wrapped up. The month was a good reading month. I read 28 books for a total of 8,827 pages. As of October 31st, my YTD totals are 252 books, 75,931 pages read, and 2,137.50 hours read.

pickThis is the second book in the Priest series. I loved book one, but this one was better. I was hooked from the beginning. I love how Zinny made Sean want to be a better person. His journey was incredible. The book is extra steamy, but it is wonderful prose and characters that make me want to give this one more than five stars. This is a reread for me. I read it when it was originally published in 2011. It's such a great story, and the characters were authentic. Loved it just as much as the first time. It's a fabulous love story with all the feels. You can't help falling in love with TJ and Anna. 5⭐️
