This sounded SO delicious but it fell flat. First, there‘s a tonne of butter, flour and whole milk in this. Like… a tonne. Second, the onions aren‘t sautéed in the butter first so you don‘t get their flavour. And the only seasoning is salt & pepper. So it was kinda bland.
But it‘s worth trying again - I‘ll cut the butter & flour in half, sauté the onions, increase the chicken stock and add some herbs.
