Just saw the cinema version of The Dry by Jane Harper. Was very happy with the adaptation, which was a huge relief. I love this book so much, it was the novel I chose for my #LitMail around-the-world book club, the author writes the Aussie bush so well and the movie definitely lived up to the job of making the drought feel like it‘s own character. 8.5/10🙌

Lizpixie @Crazeedi it was released here in Aus before Xmas. I gave it 4.5 stars I think, it wasn‘t another Falk novel unfortunately but I loved the setting(coastal town)She does locations so well🙌🌊 4y

Jeg I saw it last week and really enjoyed it. I always forget books so amazed myself when part way through I remembered the plot. Friend at coffee today said she was dismayed that they called the bush , the forest. I didn‘t notice that instead of going into the bush they went into the Forest . 4y
