Wow, this is an awesome psychological thriller! You just can't help it, you want to see how the book ends. I would highly recommend this book to others. The ending could've used a little more closure/explanation but other than the was twisted perfection.

This is a great book! It gives you a nice kick in the butt when you're having moments of self doubt, self-pity, or just need a little motivation. I won't subscribe to all of her philosophies but I do think it is a good read for those who need a little help moving forward in life.

Wow, this book is not only timely but heart wrenching in its honest depiction of current events. I cried and my heart broke with the Starr as she tried to find her voice and struggled with the dichotomy of her home (predominantly African American) and school (predominantly white) lives. Angie Thomas tries to tell a balanced picture and I think she accomplishes it.
