A super short audio book jam packed with common sense and interesting ideas. Perfect for Type A people like me. 😊
I was a huge fan back in the day - I remember the rumors of him overdosing and coming back to life - but had no idea of the personal hell he was living in. Reading his book of a years worth of journal entries and reflections on those entries by Nikki and friends gives insight into the dark world of addiction - and that there is hope.
Bobby Hall a/k/a Logic (rap/hip hop artist) wrote a book - and I really really enjoyed it! Full of twists, strange turns, and memorable characters. 4 out of 5!
Busy and productive morning followed by a lazy literature filled Sunday afternoon. 😊
Ran 6 miles, did some chores, doing laundry as I type - now time to relax for a bit with a cuppa tea and a new book.
❄️❄️Snow day with my pup! Diving in! ❄️❄️Thanks @WilliamMorrowBooks
The memoir of Grace Coddington is nothing short of epic. If you love fashion - then you know probably Grace and her work. I listened to the audiobook read by the author and was enthralled- the jet setting lifestyle, haute couture, supermodels, Paris fashion week, etc.etc.! A perfect escapist listen. 💃🏻
This is such an important book for planet earth. If you‘ve never read, then please do - and make the world a better place.
Put off reading this book for years. This weekend I committed to finishing it. A few pages left, a warm puppy, and the football game in the background is a perfect freezing Winter evening! #dogsoflitsy
What a loss. What a body of work. She was a treasure. Opening up her Devotions book and pledging reading a few every night in tribute. Her work was beautiful and extraordinary. Rest In Peace Mary Oliver.
Snuggling with the pup for a bit and diving into “something completely different!”
First day experiencing the office and my book nook - look who‘s right at home. 🐾 Spent the afternoon working and listening to a fun and spot on audiobook for creative types by Mia Michaels. Highly recommended! #dogsoflitsy
Haven‘t been reading or on Litsy much since we were blessed with a 2 month old pup on December 15th. ☺️🐾 Hopefully finishing up The Friend tonight or tomorrow.
Kept seeing this book turn up in my newsfeeds and was happy to stumble on the audiobook and e-book through my local library.
Loving it so far - and its only 4.5 hours long!
I‘m projecting a bit since I‘ll hit 50 books this weekend - anywho, it was a great year for reading and all bookish things!!!! 😊📚💃🏻
Finally sitting down to reading a few chapters before the big football game. 🦅 🏈 Enjoying a cuppa Stash‘s Christmas in Paris tea with some chocolate cherry trail mix. Happy Sunday everyone!!!
This book is everything! A super short read with a very important message! Highly recommended!!
My library system only has one copy of this 2018 National Book Foundation winner for Fiction - and it‘s LARGE PRINT 🔍 👀 Kinda matches the cover, no? ☺️ 🐶
I never wanted to read this book - but I‘m a better person for having done so (thanks to my book club!).
Is it sad? Oh yes - but it‘s also filled with science, relationships, search for purpose and meaning, as well as love.
Finished this audiobook on the drive home through our first major snowstorm. A full BBC production with a terrific cast of characters - including Billy Boyd.
Fantastic audiobook by an ensemble cast. Perfect for evening driving or nighttime listening and it‘s only a little over an hour long! 💤 🕷

❄️❄️Survived the first Winter storm of the season! I was able to finish two audiobooks on the ride home last evening.❄️❄️
🐺🐺🐺🐺/5
A very interesting and unique work. The writing and curious plot drew me in. I was lost as a reader at one point, but then found my perspective through the maze of the work. Beautiful writing with a strong and poignant finish. If you read this, don‘t give up - stay the course. 🐺
At the airport and tearing through this book - wasn‘t sure if I‘d like it but the writing is well done and the character development very interesting. Can‘t wait to see how it ends.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5! I really enjoyed this book of stories. It took me on a whirlwind of a ride. The characters and plot themes were intriguing, engaging, and surprising. Recommended!
A light thriller with a fast pace! Completely enjoyable. The story of a 9 year old boy trying to find out just what exactly has happened to his mother (who hasn‘t returned from an overseas trip) and the difficulties he encounters.
Cannot wait to grocery shop and make meals this weekend! I love how HRH The Duchess of Sussex is getting involved with helping her new community. 👏🏻👏🏻 Proceeds from the book help the Hubb Community Kitchen and related community projects through the Royal Foundation.
Loved this book! A perfect light read filled with love, mystery, heartache, and beautiful imagery/scenery.
Now switching gears....lol.
This morning I whipped up Chrissy‘s Salted Maple 🍁 Granola - which is also the base for her Peanut Butter Granola Clusters - so I made those too! Fantastic recipes and flavors! #AutumnCooking
I cannot wait to plan meals and go shopping! Her first cookbook is a favorite of mine!!! 👏🏻👏🏻
Really enjoying this book of short stories after hearing the review on NPR. Settling in my book nook with a cuppa Yerba Mate tea on a dreary, rainy, damp day. I seriously love this weather!!!!! Happy Reading! ☔️
People Magazine‘s top pick of the week. Who will be watching Sunday night?!?!? 🙋🏻♀️
The September pick for my book club....seems like a fun read. 😊
Published in 2008, BRAVO to Carrie Fisher for this book and Author‘s Note. A compelling read that takes the reader through the ins and outs of her Hollywood dysfunction junction. Highly recommended! 👏🏻👏🏻

Now for something completely different (and my new up-cycled bookmark!!)
Finished this one for my book club. The story really wasn‘t my cuppa tea, but I finished it. If it wasn‘t for the club, I‘d probably bail on it. I‘d rate it a 3/5.

Our Running Book Club pick for August!!🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️
A complete and total palette cleanser! A quick fun read that held my interest. The plot would make for a good Lifetime movie! My book club gave it a 5 or 6 out of 10.
