Zuzana was relatable, fun and witty. I adore her. Mik was cute & sweet, and I was happy for them. This was a super cute story about young crush.

I loved the setting and all those vibrant descriptions: that made everything feel so alive, like you would be there on a magical night - walking streets in Prague while it's snowing.

It was years ago when I read Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy. I fell in love with amazing world and characters that Laini created. I always wanted to read novella about Zuzana and Mike which wasn't translated in my language. Now that I finally read it I am disappointed.

This novella is the 2.5 installment in the Daughter of Smoke and Bone series. It fills in some gaps and is the backstory of a side character romance. I thought the sketchbook element was cute but otherwise found it much less polished than the main books. On to Dreams of Gods & Monsters!

This is one of favorite series of all time. So of course I loved this and the precious characters in it. I loved this whole little story and it makes me want to do a reread of the series (for the thousandth time).

This was really adorable. It's the story of Zuzana's first date with Mik, set in the world of Daughter of Smoke and Bones.

Had this series of books in my audible library for a long time finally got round to reading it was hooked straight away great series

Absurdly adorable. I really enjoyed this short story. I love Laini Taylor's characters and how she portrays them.

This has been one of my favorite books for a few years now. I‘ve only ever read the ebook, so the illustrated edition was a new experience. And I guess I just needed to reread something cute and fluffy, and Zuzana and Mik are delightful characters. Laini Taylor writes the best romance. 💕

These books come from my TBR. Glitter I saw a few times on here, read the synopsis, then added it. Textrovert is a book I read way long ago on Wattpad and then bought a copy when the author physically published it. My aunt told me that Laini Taylor was publishing another book from the DOSAB trilogy, but it took me a long while to buy it and I still haven‘t read it yet. Soon, though!

I read Daughter of Smoke and Bone (the trilogy) a couple of years ago and found this novella in #hoopla recently, reminding me I never read it. It's the love story of a puppet maker and a violin boy, Zuzana and Myk, it's all cute and the only warring factions are off the page in texts from Karou. ⤵️

What a cute story! I loved Zuzana and Mik in the smoke and bone trilogy so I loved reading how that night went. I miss this world so much and I loved being back in it.

As always Laini Taylor does not dissapoint! This was just a beautiful and whimsical return to the beautiful world and one of my favorite characters from the series. Highly reccomend this book!

This illustrated edition of what was originally just an ebook proves why print rules (for me at least!). I remembered nothing of the e version. But with the atmospheric illustrations and typesetting, this back-and-forth narration of Zuzana & Mik‘s first date (something not shown in the Smoke & Bone trilogy) is magical. Literally. Melted my stone-cold heart with fantastic and sweetly quirky romance 💕

This was so cute! Suzanna reminds me so much of my little sister - feisty miniature human who is deeply creative, prickly but secretly a total softy, and I couldn‘t help picture her as my Emily the whole time

I did a little readathon yesterday with my new blog partner and mostly concentrated on some committee reading I'm doing for a K-3 award list in our state.

I also finished Night of Cake and Puppets, which was so good and involves my favorite characters from the series - Zuzana and Mik and how they romantically meet. There's illustrations as well! You can read this one without having read the whole series.

Absolutely wonderful little companion to an absolutely wonderful series...

Really loving the illustrations and PoV in this companion novel. My hubby just left for work so Zeus is settling onto the couch to hang with me the rest of the night. #dogsoflitsy

This was so fun! Even though Goodreads lists this as 2.5 of the series, I‘m happy that I read it after I read the whole trilogy. It was such fun to revisit these delightful characters! SUCH a lovely book. This was such a treat, particularly while still recovering from the emotional roller-coaster and general awesomeness that is the trilogy!

The switching POV, the illustrations that just captured it all PERFECTLY, the magic... and the graphic novel teaser, which just about had my heart bursting in excitement!!! I mean, what?!??!? DOSAB in graphic novel form??? That would be all kinds of AMAZING!!
