I was so close to reaching my #FabulousFebruary #20in4 Readathon goal!
219/251 pages
Falling asleep during a readathon is my downfall too often.
But I loved this book and the motivation the readathon gave me to read a little more every day!
Thank you @Andrew65 !

Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick @Susanita @Andrew65 Thanks, friends! I am feeling better now. I lucked out that it wasn't too bad, but it was a good excuse to stay home and read! 😁 8mo

This veered occasionally to soap opera “territory” but would always pull itself back. I liked the author‘s use of history, family research, and her imagination to craft an interesting and enjoyable story. This was a Seattle without Starbucks!

#FabulousFebruary … how did I do?

FINISH
Island of the Blue Dolphins✅
Now You See Them ✅
A Wild and Heavenly Place ✅
Emma (maybe?) 2 more chapters

START
The Last Widow✅

#20in4 #fabulousfebruary I finished 2 books in this weekly challenge + both crime series. This is 12th in insp maclean, the cyclist 2nd in DI George Cross. Maclean as usual in Edinburgh battles supernatural elements in the discovery of bodies old + new, Cross a autistic detective in Bristol brings his uniqskills to unravelling the death of a man found in his cycling gears. Both well plotted and gd reads. Mid The marriage portrait at mo. @Andrew65

Well not my best readathon. Didn't quite hit ten hours but did finish one book. I do seem to be out of my slump though which is great. Hopefully better results next time. #FabulousFebruary #20in4 @Andrew65

While I only finished 2 of the 3 books I wanted to finish for this readathon, I still consider it a success because I finished the 34+ hours audiobook trudge through Dhalgren. Finishing that felt like winning a prize to me 🤣
Thanks for hosting @Andrew65. See you again for March's readathons. #20in4 #FabulousFebruary

I‘m a whole day late posting, but I‘m thrilled that I completed my goals for #FabulousFebruary. Yay!

My goals were to:
• finish The Disappeared by CJ Box ✔️
• read at least one book from my NetGalley backlog ✔️

I love participating in these choose your own goals readathons! As always, thank you for hosting, @Andrew65!

This one has very mixed reviews but you know what? I really liked it. Starts as a slow burn that spends the first half setting up the three main characters‘ toxic friendship, and the second half is a murder mystery featuring all three plus some secondary characters from the first half. I had a lot of fun trying to figure it all out and I was wrong! The end completely surprised me. So, this is a pick from me!

#20in4 #FabulousFebruary @Andrew65

I finished 6 books for this readathon. Total pages read is 2,337 and the total reading time is 60.75. I had no goals and this seems to work best for me.
