For BOTM, a little lackluster, but I picked this interesting sounding thriller + getting the next issue of their short story subscription. Must… actually start that series soon… 🤔

pickI had so much fun reading my April #BookOfTheMonth pick! I wish I‘d read it in the warmer parts of the year, but reading by tree light does add a certain magic! This adventure fantasy— complete with seadragons, neat marking magic where tattoos come to life, a quest & romance— makes for a fast-paced & exciting read! Hanalei hasn‘t returned to her home since her father‘s betrayal, but when forced her return, it‘s a different welcome than envisioned!
3 of those were manga, so it's 15 books in total. I'm totally ok with that. My two #bookofthemonth titles are showed above:

The book by Alok Vaid-Menon did get a higher rating, yes, but I learned more from this one. That's why it gets to be my #BookoftheMonth for Nonfiction.
