This was the last book in the Mr. Mercedes trilogy.. I‘m looking forward to listening to Holly but I‘ll miss the whole crew together 🥲❤️ These books have been easy binges! I‘m hoping to watch the show 📺

Of all three books, I liked this installment of the trilogy most. I think the fact that King brought readers back full circle to book one's antagonist really did it for me. A fun and exciting read that allowed for a gripping wrap to the series. #audiobook
What a great book and an awesome way to end the trilogy.

I enjoyed this one the most out of the whole series.

What a beautiful end to Bill Hodges's trilogy. The return of the greatest evil our favorite retired detective has ever faced, a little more than a touch of the supernatural, and everything tied up in a neat package with a lovely bow by the end. I'm eager to experience Holly Gibney's future adventures, but I'm delighted Bill Hodges was graced with such an enjoyable time in King's sun. 5/5
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very creepy revenge story. Someone is antagonizing concert survivors from book 1 (Mr Mercedes), encouraging them one-by-one to die by suicide. Super disturbing. Meanwhile, is Brady Hartsfield faking his recovery progress, or nah? Hodges will figure it out. I had a bit of trouble suspending some belief, but was still mesmerized by King‘s storytelling prowess. Mind control via hypnotic video game fish? Ok, sir. I‘m in.
Great end to the series! Love the characters and the story and the way they ended this.
So good! What an “end” to the story.
The real test will be if I can wait to read HOLLY with #losersclub because these characters grew on me so much. Even though Jerome did the stupid voice again.
Welcome to the #LosersClub open discussion for #EndOfWatch
Please be mindful of spoilers. We have new readers to King who haven‘t read all of his books. When referencing his other work, please keep this in mind for our new-to-King friends. Don‘t forget to tag each other in the comments so your friends can see your reply. Have fun!

Missed 20 hours by a mile for the first time in a long time 😂
Did not stick to the plan exactly, read a whole extra book, didn‘t get near the new Will Trent, I‘m still behind for #losersclub but… @BarkingMadRead told me it was quite compelling & so far it is. im glad I got #lmpcb finished & mailed out today & both the audiobooks back to Libby before the due date. So we‘ll call it a win. @Andrew65 as always thanks for the excuse to binge read!
Only 9 more days until Stephen King's new book, Holly, comes out! I'm so excited I'm taking a PTO day the day after so I can enjoy it! 🤭📚 I'm hoping to finish my reread of this final book in the Bill Hodges trilogy and then reread the If It Bleeds novella before it comes out! Who else is excited for his new book?! 🥰
This was quite the conclusion to the Bill Hodges trilogy. Not to give too much away, but I'll never look at those kinds of gaming systems the same way again 🐟

I meant to save this one for August but I had no shelf control after finishing Finders Keepers 😉. I found the wrap up of the Brady Hartsfield case a little anticlimactic I was looking forward to seeing them try to explain all that Brady accomplished. I did enjoy seeing Holly‘s character progress from where she started in Mr. Mercedes as well as the various King Easter eggs throughout. I think Hodges got a good send off. #losersclub
There are a couple of books missing from the stack, but they will be on my list! #bookspin #bookspinbingo @TheAromaofBooks
Just a reminder that August‘s #LosersClub read is #EndOfWatch Put your library holds in now, search your shelves, or buy a new copy, and check back on or about August 1st, when we begin reading this one. #losersclub here is our new list! I switched End of Watch and Bazaar of Bad Dreams. We will finish this awesome challenge in August 2024 and then we can decide if we want to start all over again!
A little housekeeping! If you no longer wish to participate at any time, and me tagging you is becoming annoying (whaaaaat?!? Never!) please let me know so I can remove you!!

I‘m rereading all of the Holly Gibney books ahead of the new release in September. I‘m happy to say this series holds up to time and for once King sticks the ending.
Enjoying this beautiful weather today while I can. Summer break can't come fast enough. #tiredteacher #hurryupsummerbreak
A great ending to the trilogy! I was prepared for some style changes in this book thanks to some of the foreshadowing in the second book. Definitely a page turner.
Okay this one was just as good as the first one! Had all the original characters as the first one and I felt the book wrapped up well. I love all of these characters so much! They are so well written and are all so different but work together so perfectly and love each other so fully. Cannot wait to start The Outsider as it follows my favorite character Holly! 😁
Borrowed from Goodwill Librarian on Facebook. 🐸☕️🤣
Went for the third part of the Bill Hodges trilogy next, but listening to the audiobook because my concentration is pretty bad right now and super busy setting up my new apartment.
Edit: Very enjoyable and such a intense page-turner.
I also thought this was a fitting finale to the trilogy. 4/5
My reading stats for the month of March. I read everything on my monthly TBR and am very pleased with that. My favorites were End of Watch, a great ending to the Bill Hodges trilogy, and Family Tree Vol. 1, a super unique graphic novel.
I absolutely loved this book, and the whole trilogy. It is such a satisfying read. For me, this was the weakest in the trilogy. I enjoyed the first two more because they were more of a straight detective story, while this one leans heavily on the supernatural. Also, not much Jerome in this one. He really only had a big part in Mr Mercedes. I do love Holly. She is becoming such a star. This is a fantastic book.
The third book in the trilogy and such a good read. I really enjoyed the characters and how they developed and were intertwined in each book and this was a great ending. Stephen King does another great one!
The final installment in the Bill Hodges trilogy and what an excellent way to finish, sad though 💔 Such a good story, King really has an interesting mind and I will definitely be continuing the Holly Gibney series as she is a great character 🙂

No work until Tuesday and after a fab Derby day win with our reserves it's time for vino and a new book. The final book in the Bill Hodges trilogy 📚
Another book i finished last week and i was genuinely sorry to finish this trilogy with characters in bill hodges and holly gibney who i could happily followed for several stories and with a truly memorable villain who returns from mr Mercedes to bring the fingers keepers gang back to investigate suicides related to bk 1. My only gripe however is my inability to deal with a plot device, however i buried my misgivings eventually to enjoy the rd.
This was a great end to this trilogy. I will miss Hodges and Brady. Would really like to see a story with Jerome and/or Holly.
Bill Hodges, we've done over a thousand pages together and I've enjoyed every sentence with you.

I don‘t know I missed that there was a third book in this series. But I‘m reading it now!
The end of the trilogy. I liked the story, but I‘ve read other reviews that say Uncle Stevie threw in the towel on crime drama on this one and returned to his roots, and I would have to agree. Everybody‘s favorite psycho, Brady Hartsfield, who seemed out for the count, is back with a vengeance, and with a few new tricks up his sleeve. Suddenly, he‘s acquired some interesting new powers that he plans to do all kinds of evil with. Recommended!
Holly and Jerome return in this 3rd book in the series. Holly still grates on me some (in the first book Holly did “grow on me”), but at other times, I found her amusing. I listened to the audio, and it‘s possible it‘s the way the narrator “plays” Holly that, at least plays a part in my irritation with her. Apparently, I didn‘t like this one quite as much as the first two but overall it was still good. A good conclusion to the series.
I really enjoyed this Trilogy, and Hodges has become my new hero😁😁
I thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy. This one had some really cool plot developments. I don't think it was the strongest ending, but it was good.
More of the Stephen King I know in this one than the other two in the series.
Ugh! I am so sad this trilogy is over. Awesome characters and great plot. Holly and Jerome just steal your heart. If you haven‘t read this trilogy I highly recommend it.
