Published in 1997 with a preface added in 2020. I‘m still in the first chapter, but it puts a lot of things in perspective. I was born in 1974, so I don‘t know a world without Roe.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This one floored me. Nonfiction does not always hold my attention. I devoured this book like a novel and made many notes along the way. I‘m so happy to hear there is a young adult version too. #BLM

Fast read, but stuck with me for a long time after I was finished. I loved the blend of science fiction & love story/appreciation for one's life with all of is imperfections.

3rd time starting #It. Found my dad's copy a couple of months ago. Let's get it done this time! #LitsyAtoZ #I #stephenking

RadicalReader @Bcox129 something so rewarding about Stephen King‘s books. They have a personal look all their own when the wrap around cover is removed 7y

I lost my mother to cancer around the same age, so I definitely connected with this book. I've seen some reviewers call her selfish & hard to take. I don't see that at all- just a 20 something who is going through some heavy stuff and is honest and open about it. I really appreciate her taking me with her on her journey. It helped me heal some old wounds that I didn't realize needed my attention.

This book, its characters and their lives will stay with me for a very long time. It did take me about 100+ pages to really get into it. I am so glad I stuck with it! After I finished it I dreamt about Jude all night long.

Just a few pages in. Not sure if this book will grab me, but I'll give it a try.
