I had a hard time getting into the story, but came to care for the characters and ended up enjoying it! I'm glad I read it before the movie comes out!

I was counting my toes. They are fabulously good company because they always add up the same way.

Not a fan of the audiobook... But I think that's due to the style of writing. I'm a fan of Anne Rice and think I would have enjoyed the book book more

I really loved this. Historical fiction with a thoroughly modern twist. I listened to the audio book and the narration was amazing!

Finally finished this up! Typically great Neil Gaiman! Really interesting premise.

I felt like I was having a hard time getting into the book, but at the same time I kept feeling drawn back to it. In the end, I really liked it. I laughed, I cried, my heart raced, I got confused and reread pages, then understood like lightning. I don't know if I would call it horror, but it had its thriller like overtones. I found it a very unusual and I can definitely see it not being for everyone.

A little late on my April Reading success

I liked it, didn't love it... Interesting look at rare book collecting and rare book stores. Unusual look at why someone steals, but felt disjointed and because of that too way longer to read than it should have!

This was enjoyable, a bit predictable, but still a fun read. The world is interesting and I grew to care about the characters

I read this with my 5 and 7 year old daughters last night. It was super cute! I had told them we only had time for a couple of chapters, but I had to keep reading and find out more about the crocodile's shenanigans!

Wow... just wow.... Really loved this book! It's a story about racial divides and overcoming differences for the better of everyone disguised as a fantasy... So. Freaking. Good.

Love love love the musical. First time reading the book. I didn't like it as much as I thought I would, but still a pick for sure

Good book, interesting style of writing, I felt like the MC had racing thoughts and found myself reading that way.

The world rushed in a circle and turned on its axis and time was busy burning the years and the people...

I loved this book. I loved the characters, the relationships, the setting. I loved the strong female characters. I especially loved that the main characters were normal people, they weren't this glossy version of people that media tends to show us. And the cover 😍😍😍 Seriously, read this book ❤️
