5✨Madi‘s grandmother passed away when she was about 13. Madi dreams about the love of her lives and the only real clue in this dream is the initials JR. After a tough break up with her boyfriend, she heads to Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 for a business venture. Being connected through ancestry and a mission to spread her abuela‘s ashes in her home country. This was the perfect companion on a long road trip. This is my last #OUABC until I pay off some debts.😭

5✨ I laughed, cried, and loved this book. We follow Elizabeth, a cultured East Canada teacher, when gets a position in the frontier to teach a small town that has never had a teacher. Her struggle to hard living is a major learning experience to her. She tries to hold her head high, but what she doesn‘t struggle with is loving and teaching her students. As a teacher struggling myself this was the book I needed. #FoodandLit 🇨🇦

1.) I got the anniversary Loungefly backpack of my favorite character. 2.)I‘m coordinating with the adults in the family to get these Link Squad toys for my son that he loves! 3.) Baby E tried Eggnog for the first time… safe to say he loved it! 4.) My oldest F was in the Veterans Day Parade with her Girl Scout troop. 5.) And we celebrated both my girls, dolls birthdays. 🥰💛

3✨ Going in with a few spoilers I expected bullying, and telekinesis. I did not expect it to hit my feels as much as it did. Typically every girl gets her period around the age of 12. I know for me it was a difficult transition, but for Carrie it was so much worse! This plays on real feels of mine as a kid, and the worst bullies on the face of the planet. It has me thinking who was the real “monster”. #LosersClub

BarkingMadRead The bullying in this is insane! She maybe took it a little too far… 1w

4✨This was really fun to read. It follows several children with basically everyday life. They have some major scares that turn out to be just them being overly scared (the world ending from a news article). They also have adventures, fights, disobedient moments, envy of the others, storytelling, and health scares. Overall, it is a story with multiple mini stories that mostly flow nicely with the main storyline.

2✨This is one of the Down the Rabbit hole books (4/5) and while it had a very good Alice feel, where she went into basically another dimension. It played like a cross between The Christmas Carol, Alice and Wonderland, and the movie: It‘s a wonderful life… but with a guy she‘s meant to be with. For how short it was it just had a lot going on.

4✨A bit sad for this one. Abandoned and then shortly after found by the person that raises her. She goes through school to be a wish granting fairy. The other young fairies judge her differences. It also had an interesting spin on her interest in Aurora. #SeriesLove @TheSpineView @Andrew65

4✨This has to be the creepiest one I have read so far. I‘m not a fan of life like dolls though. Slappy is a ventriloquist dummy found by Lindy. Her twin, Kris, is jealous and decides she wants one too. Thats when some weird stuff starts to happen. I almost finished this one last month. 😅 #SeriesLove @TheSpineView @Andrew65

3✨ Being the last in the series a lot has happened to these characters. This may have been the first time I realized it included some history to this fantasy world. Naturally, I knew it was using real places, but I thought that was it. Like with the other two, I was only interested in one of the POVs. #SeriesLove #HauntedShelves #TeamFlurken

3✨ On Max‘s birthday party they find a mirror hidden in the attic that causes him to be invisible. Along with some friends and Max‘s brother they take turns to see how long they can remain invisible. The longer they stay invisible the more uncomfortable they feel. This caused it to be pretty repetitive, but definitely spooky. #HauntedShelves #TeamFlurken #SeriesLove

3✨This novella in the series needs to be read after the first three main books, or at least after “Forever My Girl”. It starts at the very beginning of Liam‘s journey to show his perspective throughout the time before his friend‘s passing (which starts book 1). I have to say that this helps give perspective on the Liam we loved to hate in the first one, and for me I like him so much more now. #HauntedShelves #TeamFlurken #SeriesLove

3✨Even though I may have given this second book in the series the same rating as the first, I think I liked this one a bit more. There was a few things going on at once: a murder of a co-worker, a missing vampire, a purist cult that hates vampires, and a traveling supernatural killer. It made for a fun read. #SeriesLove #TeamFlurken #HauntedShelves

4✨I don‘t know what it is about this book that made me like it so much. Being in a store overnight to try to catch a vandal was an interesting storyline. Then being way more than that was even more intriguing. Normally, I can handle gore and this book had a lot! There was a few scenes I had to pause to take a breather from the very vivid descriptive writing on the gore. Overall, I would say this was the most memorable story I read this month.

MegaWhoppingCosmicBookwyrm I‘m so glad you liked it! This one is a reread for me and I‘m about halfway through. I loved it the first time and as a reread it‘s just as creepy. 🖤 3w

5✨The second book in the Amish Candy Shop series. This one I really enjoyed with the candy competition. It was interesting that the murder happened using an allergy. It focused on talk of different districts being more or less strict in the Amish ways, and young people making a choice to be baptized into the community or not. #SeriesLove #TeamFlurken #HauntedShelves

4✨ I should have read this ages ago! High school me loved Tamora Pierce and read 2 different quartets. This one is exactly what I remember of her writing. Packed with great writing, well thought out characters, battle scenes, and a coming of age story. Kel just wants to be treated fairly and she expressed this A LOT through the book. That would be my only complaint on repetitiveness. #roll100 #HauntedShelves #TeamFlurken

2✨ Its a 2nd book (normally not a fan). I loved Warm bodies so much that it took me a while to pick this up. It alone was perfectly fine! The story line here of the cure was very unique, and fun to read. It still has some main characters and they basically evolved more because their world is changing again. The element of Z‘s children is where I lost interest. Something big was further happening which will conclude in the last book in the series.

Jeanie needs a change of scenery when her high stress job causes her previous boss to have a heart attack, and cause her to rethink her career. At first she is a basket case, but then she meets Logan the farmer. Super cute, a bit spicy, and a series I‘m definitely going to continue. #SeriesLove #HauntedShelves
