This was surprisingly #creepy! The concept and drawings are really unique and frightening. These #Wytches are not your traditional #witch as I had expected. These are more like #nightmarish creatures with the powers of a traditional witch. Overall, I really enjoyed it and loved the illustrations!!
I also loved her diary. That was really creepy and cool.

It was very tense and I really liked how the mom thought about her actions and anticipated her son's behavior. However, I thought that the plot was a little bit weak and the ending was rushed and just not that great.... Also. A VERY BIG THING IS LEFT UNRESOLVED. Not cool Gin Phillips.
I thought this book was about what a mother will do to save her child. It kinda was, but not in the way I expected. More emotional problems than physical violence.

I LOVED this book!!
It has been quite a while since a book actually scared me the way this one did. The concept itself of not knowing what you are running from is scary enough, never mind trying to navigate the world #blindfolded with who knows what outside. This book was #creepy, #disturbing, #tense, and #addicting. I highly recommend it!!!
