Guys I am so sorry. I have received some emails that my swaps are upset they never received their box. We had a major hurricane and today is the first time I can log on. Our house has damage but not lost like others are. I promise as soon as we@get back on our feet I will mail out my boxes. I know I will be banned from anymore swaps but I feel this was out of my control and am deeply sorry to the people I offended.

Wonderwoman89 @tracey38 no this is Newport NC. We were on the worst side of the storm and hit harder than Wilmington was. But it doesn‘t really matter who was hit the hardest. We all have destruction and have to start all over again. One thing though is that the storm pulled people together and everyone has helped everyone. It is amazing of the love and help everyone is getting. 6y

No #readathon this weekend, but for a wonderful reason. The fundraiser I organized with two friends for United for Puerto Rico was an astounding success! We collected more than $10,000 cash donations, and filled a truck with medical supplies which will be on the way to PR very, very soon!

My dad, resident South Florida surly old man, sent me this photo to say, "see, I didn't have to evacuate, it wasn't that bad." Admittedly, none of my family or friends in Tampa/Sarasota evacuated -- and luckily they all made it through without a scratch! ??‍♀️ bye Irma ????

We survived #HurricaneIrma! This was our one damage: a tree on our front yard was uprooted by the wind, took out part of our fence, and fell on the neighbor's car (which was only lightly dented, thank god!). Still no power, but generator is holding. @Figgy and @gibblr (who lost a tree in her backyard too) are fine too. 💜💜💜 Thanks everyone for prayers and best wishes. We ❤️ you too!
