So here is my #introducemyself post: Married to Chris for 10 years, we have 6 grown kids, one dog (Jack the Dorkie) and one cat (Chance The Godfather). I have been a professional fundraiser for over 17 years, 16 years for the American Heart Association and one year as Executive Director for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We moved to Madeira Beach FL last year in order for me to take this new job. We were both born and raised in Valdosta GA 😊

I've seen quite a few #introduceyourself posts, so I thought I'd join in!
My name is Rachel, and I'm married to the most wonderful human ever, Lucas. We have a corgi who often makes an appearance in my photos. I'm about to finish my Master of Education. I teach English to teenagers during the day and ESL to refugee adults at night. Reading is my favorite hobby and I can't wait until I have more free time to read again!

Goals are:
-2 books/week
-63000 weekly steps (9000 steps/day avg)
-210 active minutes/week (30/day avg)
-under calories count 5/7 days (aka less calories in than out, no set number)

Bumping my steps up to 9000 a day for the first time which should be quite challenging for me given my work schedule and colder weather. Good luck all!

@kaye had the wonderful idea to reintroduce or introduce ourselves since we are getting so many new people here.
Man Cub has a stuffed orange moose that we got from Ikea several years ago. One day I put my glasses on him and put ‘The Catcher in the Rye‘ in his hands to read then took a picture. I decided to start a tumblr page and needed a name OrangeMooseReads was born. Orange Moose has become a bit of an alter ego for me as well.

I recently joined the #JB (what does this hashtag mean? LOL) #LitsyPenPals and wanted to do a little intro. I am still somewhat new to Litsy (rejoined last summer) but I absolutely love it. My name is Kelly, I am 30 years old, married and have 1 daughter. I don't have a lot of friends or family that read so connecting to people who do has been a lot of fun for me. Looking forward to meeting and connecting with new folks!

How sad is it that all my selfies are basically Livy trying to smother me? Anyway, lots of new followers, figured I‘d do an #introductions post.

I‘m Kris, originally from Rhode Island but living in Denver. I used to be a nanny, and I used to be much more active on Litsy, but I was disabled by a stroke in 2017. Now I do a lot of reading (SO much slower than before) and occasional knitting. I like YA (esp. queer stories) and MG, and mysteries.

I have a lot of new followers in the last couple weeks, so I thought I‘d introduce myself.

I‘m a 60-something retired music teacher, living in South Florida for 40+ years. Im still active as a singer and voice teacher.

Docent at a botanical garden.

Collector of cookbooks. And I do cook out of them/use for inspiration.

Love historical fiction of all sorts. Best part of Litsy is reading new genres, making new friends.

I have two boys (three if I count the hubby), so I don‘t get many compliments. This photo was taken last month, when my eldest asked me not to wear makeup because “you‘re already beautiful.” Well!
