I started a new book yesterday, Things We Never Got Over. Still working on Lover Avenged as well as The Naughty List.
This is one of my favorites, if not my most favorite, in the Discworld series. Pratchett hit the nail on the head again. His take on government is spot on. As usual, there are laughs throughout the story. 4.5 ⭐

This book was a rollercoaster of emotions. It had a bit of everything. The plot was so good and the author took her time with the character development. It was just fabulous. The story is told mostly from the Arianna's POV; however, I would have liked more from Noah's POV. Other than that it was perfection. Especially, the slow burn. Give me more like this one. 4.5 ⭐ #Read2025 @DieAReader

The Favorites by Layne Fargo is my #BOTM January selection. It came today and I already selected a bookmark to use while reading. Now to read it this month instead of June 2035!! 🤣
I have mixed feelings on this book. I liked the story and the characters, even Linc though he is bat shit crazy (which I will go into further detail). I love details and complex characters and while this had some of that, I thought it could have used more. There were a few points in the book I wish the author had delved deeper into the characters feelings and had more descriptive prose. Still over all an enjoyable and I will read the next book...
I have been working on getting my list together for #SeriesLove2025 @Andrew65
I know there are more series I have started that I need to finish. While there are 31 series on my list currently, I know it will just get bigger.
I started a paper list but moved it to a spreadsheet. This is working better for me. I seem to be more organized this way.

This is a DNF for me at around the midway point. I couldn't get into the story. The plot dragged and I didn't like either of the main characters. It was a huge disappointment for me since I normally Meghan Quinn's books. Lots of people loved this one; therefore, I am chalking it up to not my cup of tea.
