I‘ve been in such a reading slump and every book I try to read, I can‘t get into it. I don‘t know how to break this terrible slump! But I started this book and I‘ve gotten farther in it than others so my fingers are crossed this is the one to break it!

I am so unbelievably excited to finally start this book! Kristoff is my favorite author. It just finally arrived today, it kept being delayed and delayed. But it is here and it is beautiful. And I love the first page 😅

It‘s been quite awhile since I‘ve been on Litsy. I had to take some me time and get myself right. But I‘ve missed it here. So much ♥️

Haven‘t read much lately but this book arrived the other day and it sounds like it could be pretty good. A good book to bring in the fall time 🍁

I‘ve been terrible at doing this every day but here is another series I cannot get enough of. The Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews. There is 10 main books, many side stories and side series as well though. The author keeps the series interesting throughout the entire series. The main character, Kate Daniels... she is just one badass that doesn‘t take no crap and walks the walk and also talks the talk! Haha

Starting a day or so late but my first series I‘ll post about for the top 20 favorite series in 20 days, is the Wolves of Mercy Falls series by Maggie Stiefvater. It‘s just such a sweet, tragic and heartbreaking love story and I fall more in love with the story every time I reread it.

Love this cover. Thought this book would be bigger. Totally forgot about this book releasing though. And I didn‘t even realize Sara Raasch was one of the authors when I preordered it. I struggled with These Rebel Waves so I‘m kind of skeptical about this book now. But I‘ll give it a chance and see how it goes. Hopefully I enjoy it.

I‘m probably way too excited for this. I wanted this book to be released years and years ago! But I‘ll take it now. Gimme that Edward POV! 😁

Look what arrived today! This was one of the releases I‘ve been really excited for this summer. This one sounds so fascinating. And the cover is so neat! Can‘t wait to dive into it, as soon as I finish all the other books I‘ve got going right now 😆

This book was exactly what I needed to get out of my reading slump. I haven‘t been able to put it down which lately I‘ve been having a hard time picking books back up. I‘m really feeling the horror genre lately.

So any good suggestions? For some real good, scary books? 🙂

I‘ve decided I wanted to start annotating my books. Well some of them, mainly favorites and ones I know I will never part with. So the first book/series I‘m starting with is Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater. This series is still one of my absolute favorites and I figured a well loved series I‘ve read many times would be a great place to start. Got all my tabs and pens ready to make some annotations 😆

Has anyone watched any of this show on Netflix yet?? I just started it and I thought it was alright at first, but the ending of the 1st episode got me. It got good, real good. So I think I‘ll keep watching haha hopefully it continues on like this. If you‘ve watched it, how‘d you like it? Hate it? Have you read the book?

My #BotM came! I made myself resubscribe so I‘m excited to be getting them again. It was a hard choice between The Shadows and Mexican Gothic.

I got ARCs of White Trash Warlock, RomeAntically Challenged and The Suicide House. The Suicide House also came with some fun promotional items.

And I bought Dune and The Red Scrolls of Magic when I was at Walmart last night. Been wanting both of them forever now.

I don't know how I feel about this book. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it. I didn't like how Grace just immediately knew Jaxon inside and out. Like she knows his inner thoughts and feelings 100% after only knowing him a week? I don't know, I just felt like the romance was rushed a bit. I would like to continue the series though so I think I enjoyed it more than not.

1. I've read so many good ones.. I'll go with Gideon The Ninth by Tamsyn Muir. It was such a fantastic book. The story, though at times confused me, I was so engrossed with it & the characters!

2. I'm really looking forward for The Empire of Gold by S.A. Chakraborty to come out June 30th. It's the 3rd book in a great series.

Another great installment in the Kate Daniels world. Even after 9 books, there is never a dull moment with Kate and her group. I never feel like anything is repetitive. Kate is still growing thru each book. Ilona Andrews is such a great author for this. I'm sad the next book is the last one but I'm excited to see how it all ends and comes together at the same time.

I struggled with this book but not because it was a terrible book or that it had awful characters cause neither is true. I really enjoyed the characters and laughed out loud quite a few times. I just am not a historical fiction fan. I keep trying to read them and I can never stay focused or interested so I do believe I'm done trying. I'm just not gonna give them the love they deserve.

Just started this one. I believe I seen someone post about this series on here so I downloaded a sample on my kindle and really enjoyed what I read (so far) so I quite quickly ordered a copy. Really hoping this one will kick my reading slump outta here. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Got this one in the mail the other day. It sounds like such a sweet, heartbreaking but also heartwarming story about a father and son overcoming their grief in surprising ways.

The father needing money after losing his construction job buys a panda suit to become a dancing bear on the street & ends up connecting with his son in ways he hasn't been able to since his wife, boys mother, passed away, but the son doesnt know its him under the suit.

Now on to my #doublespin pick! I really highly doubt I‘ll be reading all 20 books unfortunately this month since I‘ve been in such a terrible reading slump lately and have barely been able to read but I‘m going to at least read the 3 picks! I‘ve had this ebook for awhile now and I‘ve went to start it many times but never have so I‘m excited to finally be “forced” to get into it cause it sounds like a fun read!

I really struggled with this book. I could not get into it, really early on. It just seemed to drag and I never connected with the characters. I felt absolutely no emotion towards this book and it‘s story, which kind of sucks cause I really had high hopes for this one. I had to force myself to finish reading it for BookSpin or I probably would‘ve DNF‘d it.

This book sounds really good and I love the cover. I read A Shadow Bright and Burning awhile ago and I loved it but I never got around to getting the rest of the series, not sure why? Might need to get on that and get them.

I've been looking forward to this book since I heard about it a month or so ago. Does it look and sound just like a book trying to be "Twilight"? Yes. Yes it does. Especially with that cover, its so, so gorgeous, but so Twilight-y. But! Am I excited to read it? Yes! Very much so ?

Guys these covers! I finally got this gorgeous paperback version for Cinder and Cress. Just need Winter now. But man, these covers are just gorgeous and even more so in person. I love the art inside the front covers of each book of the main characters. These covers are so much better than the others for sure.

I FINALLY got some shelves put up for my books! I am so excited to have these nice shelves to display these beauties. I was desperately in need of some new shelves since my bookshelves are very old and were showing their age (and they didnt age well). I'll probably rearrange them a million times but for now, I'm quite happy with this arrangement. Kind of feels like a library since I need a step ladder to reach the top shelves.

Really enjoyed this cute YA story. Loved the character growth and the characters were fun, especially Porter 😍. Can't really think of anything I didn't like.

Been in a reading rut lately which is terrible cause I have a HUGE TBR for this month with the #bookspinbonanza happening. Trying to get back in the zone so hopefully finishing this book helped.

I was looking over my #BookSpin list for this month and I do believe I, unknowingly, picked all the pretty long ebooks I had. Like only a few are under 400 pages. What a great month to try to read all 20 picks 🤣😅

Hmm.. I'm a little iffy on where this series went.. the ending of the last book, Failed Future, threw me so far off. It's still good, don't get me wrong, but.. I don't know. I'll just have to keep on reading and see how this plays out.

This book is so cool and pretty in its nakedness! Picture does no justice for it.

Got it in a Beacon Book Box a few months ago and I haven't seen or read much about it, besides a couple reviews on Goodreads though they weren't the greatest reviews, i figured I'd read it and see how I feel. The synopsis sounds interesting but a bit daunting with the world as it is now. It should be a fairly quick read as its only 310 pages. We'll see how it goes
