I really enjoyed this ya novel of dark sorcery and witchcraft. The characters of Alexa, Dan and Liss were fleshed out pretty good. I‘d say the wardens and Johnny and Zephyr needed work though.

I gave this audio book more then 2 hours and I just can't get into this one. It may just be were my head space is at right now. I hate to bail but I have 4-5 other audio books that I want to get to by the end of the month.

The next book up in my weekend Rainbow Book List binge-athon! I love the cover, and it matches my pretty purple book peeramid. 💜

#112 of my year. Had to bail on the last one. It was a bit much for me and I‘m ok with that lol also meet my new doggy, Ocean Blue, he‘s a rescue and that was his original name so I decided instead of choosing a bookish name I‘d let him keep what‘s familiar. He‘s so chill and I feel so lucky to have adopted him. I‘m listening to Weight by Crywolf ♥️

I really enjoyed this book from start to finish. Laurens does an amazing job exploring the complexities of friendship, and the importance of found families. She also creates an interesting world of magic, and witchcraft that doesn‘t overwhelm her readers.

Look what arrived today! This was one of the releases I‘ve been really excited for this summer. This one sounds so fascinating. And the cover is so neat! Can‘t wait to dive into it, as soon as I finish all the other books I‘ve got going right now 😆
