This was such a fun pirate romance!

The author is clearly a fan of #POTC, since I caught several phrases and other pirate lore from the movies sprinkled throughout!

One plot device I had figured out, while another I was surprised by, but it totally worked for the story!

Looking forward to reading the series!

Reading this before seeing the #Netflix film of the same name next month 10/10/25, starting Keira Knightley!

My book came in at #SHPL! I‘ll be picking it up and then reading a choose-your-own-adventure romance! I can‘t wait to try this book for this month‘s book club pick!

My second read of Mansfield Park, definitely worth another read after 15 years. The ending felt a bit rushed and was more recap. But Fanny and Edmund realized they were just right for each other! ❤️

I finished this book last night. The ending was a bit predictable, but did conclude the premise set out at the beginning of the book, so I was satisfied.

I am looking forward to reading the second book of the duology!

Finished my audiobook today! Such a feel-good, therapeutic story! I really enjoyed this RomCom with a lot of the Com, and not a lot of focus on the heavy backstory stuff. Highly recommend the audiobook!

The #TallShips are once again sailing the #GreatLakes this summer! A port host city this year was Detroit, MI #MittenLitten, not too far from home. There were four ships, but only three could be boarded while docked for tours. I‘m wearing a Her Universe POTC dress with pockets!

Downloaded the next #audiobook in the series via #hoopla!!! Can‘t wait to listen to the evil genius and see what plans are thwarted!

Started this #audiobook for #BookClub! Listening old school with a “book on CD” 💿!!!

This chapter takes place on July 30th!

I listened to it on the 29th (2025) and posted about it on the 31st 😆

Slowly making my way through this one by reading one chapter before bed each night.

I‘m not sure if it‘s my slow read of the story, but it feels like I‘m missing something as the reader, some important information or back story which would make the whole story click into place. Right now I feel like I understand what‘s going on, but then the author never takes me to that place where I feel satisfied.

I‘ll keep reading to find out.

Such a great “ghostly” book! I totally was feeling the love between Cece and her otherworldly Patrick! I also thought her love was going to make him “whole” again. It did in a way, but I guessed in the wrong time period.
