This book was very good! It has three main POV, which helps move the story along. Though at times I wish the author wouldn‘t string me along by withholding information. I did guess two of the plot twists, while one took my by surprise.
I‘m very much looking forward to reading the second and final book of the series!
Started this as an audiobook today and following along with my paperback copy from @plemmdog (Jolabokaflod swap 2023)
I‘m enjoying the narrative; it‘s keeping me engrossed!
#Jolabokaflod
Thanks @plemmdog for the book, which I‘ve been wanting to read, and the chocolate; I love those GooGoo Clusters!
4✨ This was a suggestion from a friend to read this year and I finally was able to read it. I enjoy a good hate to love and this one started with the knowledge that when they met they would have to kill each other. Action packed, fantastical magic elements, and a little romance. It was a little hard to follow the multiple views and all the new fantasy terrain I normally struggle with. Overall, a great plot

Came across this book at the library, loved the title and the artwork. Then when I read the back cover determined it was something I‘d like to read.
Thanks for the tag @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks

I had a hard time getting into this book but over all it was a good book I order the next one in the series! Over this is amazing book
I enjoyed this read and am looking forward to the next book. I liked the plot twist (which I didn‘t pick!) and the supporting characters a lot.
Thank you so much @Avanders for the lovely #CBBC #coffeebeanbookclub package! I love love love the beautiful Moon Calendar (Actually I love everything but that was a special treat!) Can't wait to start these books!
Sorry the picture isn't super nice. My Island is so so messy and I couldn't get a good picture of everything!
Starting my morning with the last book I challenged myself to read for the #NovelNovember readathon! It‘s moving pretty quickly and I‘m enjoying it so far, so it‘s looking like I‘ll be able to finish before the readathon ends
@Andrew65
New books that I had on hold came in! Eeeeee! Super excited about both of these! 💕📚 #librarybookhaul #librarylove
Another middle of the road YA fantasy novel. Interesting concept but wasn‘t executed well enough for me. There‘s another coming soon but I probably won‘t pick it up. At least it‘s off the TBR pile! #bookspinbingo
Bone Crier‘s Moon is a retelling of a French folklore called Les Dames Blanches. I thought overall it was unique in its mythology and magic system. And I was leaning more toward 4 stars until the last 75 pages or so. Then it took a bit of a haphazard crash when it tried to inject too many YA tropes to set up even more melodrama and a quasi-cliffhanger. 3.5 🌟 I‘ll likely read the next one.
And this is my #doublespin for September! #huzzah 🎉
Starting my September #doublespin read and I opened the first pages to fun a map. I love maps! Too bad this one doesn‘t cover both pages.
#87 of my year and this one I received from my Owlcrate subscription and put it on my bookshelf and forgot about it till now. I always feel like you read the books you‘re meant to, when you‘re meant to read them. Let‘s see if this resonates with me in the way I need atm. Listening to Wishing Well by Juice WRLD🌻
Bk4 of my #JuneBookHaul is (finally) the March FairyLoot book. Only took 3 months to arrive🕜 It‘s a beautiful edition at least with glittery sage green edges, a poster under the dust jacket & signed. It was a tossup to keep this one or the Owlcrate version with gold edges & a slightly different cover but I ended up giving that to my daughter instead. Bone Criers are women that ferry the dead to either Heaven or the Underworld but at a cost.
I had pretty low expectations but I enjoyed this book. Plenty of adventure and a quick read.
I am not a young adult anymore. Nevertheless, I enjoyed this audiobook a great deal. It was action-packed, easy to follow and had relatable characters.
Just finished. It was ok but a little long, the romance felt too rushed. Plot twists were interesting but I don‘t think I‘m gonna continue on to the next book personally.
🎧 I did indeed enjoy it! I recommend this audiobook if you like YA romance with a twist. Well ... not a lot of romance. I‘d listen to book two. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/3
🎧 OMG I hate myself for enjoying this teen/ya romance 😆 the first hour I was thinking WTF is going on, this is stupid ... this would qualify as my anti-genre before today. Then it grabbed me. Maybe it‘s the fact that so far the star-crossed couple wants to kill each other. It could be more clear at times but I assume that if history is any indication then it‘ll make sense soon enough. Great narration, fun action & good story SO FAR (@ 60%)! 😁
Gonna get a few more chapters in tonight. Liking it so far.
Just starting this. Really pretty cover.
How can so much thought be put into the cover but not the actual book itself? It was boring. All you got straight from the start was action. Action, drama, fight scenes, over and over and over again. Everything is surface level with absolutely no depth. Character development was poorly attempted or not done at all and world building was non existent. The story itself has promise but was not executed well at all which is so sad.
My eyes are getting sore from reading... but I‘m so close to finishing!
The #endpages for this book are gorgeous 😍#bibliomaynia
This was a great read! It‘s the first book though where I loved the sidekicks more than the main characters. Marcel and Sabine were so well rounded and interesting! That said, I did like Bastien and Ailesse, too. I‘m really looking forward to the sequel. 🦉 🌙 And, how beautiful is this OwlCrate edition? The edges are gold, too. I only wish mine did not have a flaw in the book jacket (bottom right corner).
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This story is about doomed love and trying to save it. It was bittersweet and well done. There were a few times I was bored and guessed one thing. The cover is beyond gorgeous. The world building and character development was great. Recommend.

Honestly, awful. Cheesy, insta love, a vague attempt at enemies to lovers, predictable plot twists and annoying characters.
I've caved and bought this gorgeous book I've heard so much about!
Sadly its not released here in the UK until 30th April...

I really didn‘t expect to like it. And then it sucked me in. I can‘t wait for the second book... audiobook wasn‘t as good as the print edition. The Cover art isn‘t my fav either.
When in Canada! 🇨🇦
I love !ndigo! I can‘t believe how many great books I found. Books that won‘t be released until next month, paperback copies of books that are new releases in the US and therefore are only in hardback, and great bargain books!
Feeling cozy this holiday. Happy thanksgiving, everyone!!
Found this book today and I couldn't help starting it. It's pretty good so far.
Didn't get a great amount of time in yesterday so going to try to get that number up way more today since I'm feeling a little better, at the moment anyways.
