I have only really started reading rom-coms in the last year or so and I really liked this one. The plot was mostly predictable but it was sweet with just enough spice. An easy and enjoyable escape.

New book on my TBR pile. A little different to the books in my last post! 😉 I love a re-telling and really enjoyed Neon gods, so interested to see where Electric idol goes

Does anyone else count the books you read with your children in your annual tally? My daughter and I read this one together and both adored Morrigan. This book was described as ‘Alice in wonderland meets Harry Potter‘. The was a pretty good description! We are now about to start Wundersmith…

I‘ve been in a bit of a reading slump. So much going on and no me time.. but just received a copy of this to re-read prior to the release of ‘House of sky and breath‘. Finally looking forward to reading again!

I enjoyed this read and am looking forward to the next book. I liked the plot twist (which I didn‘t pick!) and the supporting characters a lot.

6. I know,I know. It‘s problematic in so many ways. Despite all the issues I can see with the premise, toxic relationships etc I still just really enjoy Stephanie Meyer‘s books. Midnight sun was no exception. Really enjoyed the retelling from Edward‘s POV (even if he is a bit cringey and whingy).

3. Harry Potter and the philosophers stone. Comfort rereads are the best. This time I read the book aloud to my daughter. She loved it, I loved it. #parentgoals #harrypotter #gryffindor #hufflepuff

Nute Lovely sight —-> children reading and big windows with views of trees and greenery!🙂 3y

2. This book dragged a little and I didn‘t love the direction Lou took. Despite that, I‘m still willing to see the series through and looking forward to reading book 3!

I‘ve been making good use of all my birthday book vouchers lately and this paperback box set arrived today. I have curbed my expensive book habit a little by borrowing from the library for first reads and then buy my own copy if its something I love and will re-read. #bookhabit #bookbuys #paperback #boxset #sarahjmaas

Just pre-ordered a copy... 8 months pre-release! I don‘t know if I‘ve ever been more excited to read an unreleased book before. Gives me time to mentally prepare I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️
