I had high hopes for this one but it was a slog to get through. My main gripe is that its genre is categorized as romance, and it is so not a romance! The FMC and her supposed love interest aren‘t even introduced until about a third of the way through, and they hate each other pretty much the rest of the book. Not until the epilogue is it clear that they‘ve become a couple.

A cute short story with plenty of Thanksgiving vibes! I haven‘t read any other books in this series, but based on this, I would check some out. It‘s kinda hard to find Thanksgiving books, so I tend to appreciate them when I do come across them!

I love, love, love AIC and this book was well researched I thought. I learned things I didn‘t know already, and it was great to read how the band formed. It was really heartbreaking to read about Layne‘s struggles with addiction. The fact that he was reclusive and died alone is devastating. Like Cobain, it‘s so sad to think of what could‘ve been.

Enjoyed this seasonal friends-to-lovers romance! I wish there had been more autumn feels though. And I loved both the MCs, but often wanted to throttle them for their choices, which for me means I‘m invested! 🤣

Like most Gen X-ers, Nirvana had an impact on me, and in keeping with #nonfictionnovember, I decided to make this my #readordonate pick. I really can‘t believe I haven‘t read this yet!

This one isn‘t in the database but it‘s on KU. The cover is indeed a treat, but the story itself is just so-so. It‘s an insta-love story, and that‘s just not a fave romance trope for me. But it‘s really short (about 50 pages) so I‘m not totally mad about it! 🤣
