This year has been awful for so many reasons. But, focusing on the joys 😊
1) Milo
2) Maisie
3) Freddie
4) Arthur
5) The ability to find strength and joy to be there for them, always.
This is an older photo taken in 2017. The beasties made me a photo album full of their baby and childhood pics. It was a wonderful gift, reminiscing on all our wonderful adventures.

I'm so ready for this tonight. I shall be cosying up with last year's #buddyread Winter Spirits - Ghostly Tales for Frosty Nights. It's so cold and blowing a hooley, again, so it seems like the perfect night to read it. 🌬🍷
What are your plans?

I'm currently participating in the final #hashtagbrigade #buddyread of the year. 10ish chapters left, and I just don't care anymore. I've never read a book with more loose ends, dead ends, and 'we won't talk about that' plot devices in my life. Thank goodness for @BarkingMadRead keeping us sane and the humour flowing. Otherwise, I would have bailed around chapter 10!
FYI, I got bored and did a word count. 🙄😅

Join our #Hyggehour #Readathon tonight between 8 and 9pm. Grab your cosy books, blankets, snacks, and drinks for a peaceful reset.
@TheBookHippie @Chrissyreadit
This has been a standout read of the year. I absolutely loved everything about it. The narrative is told alternately between Snow, the fox wife, and Bao, the private investigator looking for her. The setting is China at the end of Empress Cixi's reign, as modernity and Western culture start to infiltrate China.
It's heavily interlaced with Chinese, Japanese, and Korean folklore.
Highly recommended 5⭐️
