I had a dream last night that I was in a big city at a hotel with my father and he was having what seemed like a stroke. I had to call 911. This is crazy! I'm emotional now. Im gonna start saving for this nola celebration!💯

My local used bookstore donates 10% of sales in October to charities chosen by their patrons. So, @dsfisher and I had to make a trip over there yesterday. This is our #bookhaul. I‘m really excited about my two hard cover collections! The B&N Anne Rice was $6 and the Poe was $3.99!!

I've read every vamp book she's turned out and they are all great...But reading Lestat come to terms with his nature and the nature of God was a phenomenal way to spend hours (and hours and hours). Every vampire book after pales in comparison.

In general... I don't like big books, but I make an exception for Brandon Sanderson and I'm also a fan of Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. All these books are over 1k pages! 😱
What's the longest single book you've read? For me, it's Words of Radiance, which is 1.2k. I finished it in like a week because it was one of the best books I've ever read!

I was far too young when Mom first let me fall in love with this story and the movie version. I finally had time to read the first few books in the collection and I loved it more than I thought possible. So amazing.
