So follow up to my prior post. I left a review on amazon which is shown below keep in mind this is the first negative below 5 star rating I‘ve ever given anything on there & this bullhsit happens. Pardon my language but I‘m livid & I made it clear in my reply to them that I‘ll never make any purchase from them again. No more app, account, & or anything else Amazon related ever again! All for an honest review

So this is a book from amazon which I don‘t normally do but i had a gift card & looks like my concerns are warranted. This page is suppose to start a new sentence but as you can see it is 1/2 a sentence. Anyone else have this in their hardcover copy? Praying this isn‘t a theme throughout my copy because missing sentences is a big problem! 😱😩🤬

I keep my current reads in book sleeves since I always take what I‘m reading to work to read on lunch. 3. Books-A-Million it‘s the only bookstore close and it‘s about 35 minutes away. I wasn't crazy about this book. For me it didn't live up to all the hype. The main character was super annoying & it didn't really do anything for me until about the last 50 pages or so. Felt like it was a lot of blah,blah,blah, oh wait let me throw a shocker at the end so it won't seem like a waste. I didn't 👎it because of the ending but I had to force myself to finish which in my opinion you shouldn't have to do with a thriller

I feel like either I haven't hit the wow part of this book yet or I'm just not gonna be one of the masses that loves it. I'm about 3/4 of the way through & I'm just not feeling it. The main character is annoying & I feel like I'm missing something because it seems too obvious who the killer is. I'm hoping I have missed something or it's just really messing with me letting me think I know what's going on when I really don't. We shall see.

Finishing my #24in48 by candlelight due to no power from the storms going on. Good thing I'm not ending the readathon on a horror book lol. Couldn't have picked a better way to end the candles, rain, & thunder make for a great ambiance ⛈💨🕯📚

Really enjoyed this book! Interesting & unique story that had me hooked from the first page. It's obvious Older has a love for New York, it shines throughout the book. So glad I purchased the other two in the series I can't wait to get started on the second. Plan on diving in on my lunch break 🤓

This book was fabulous!! It hit as close to The Secret History for me as a novel can but it's great for so many other reasons. Just wonderful! So sad it's over. Have a feeling it's gonna drive me into a reading slump.

Haven't gotten too far in but so far I'm loving this. As a huge Sherlock fan I tend to be skeptical of anything that uses him or his characteristics but this is just great. Can't wait to finish so I can start on the second.

I can't decide if I liked this book or not lol. I will say I've never finished a book so fast but that's because literally Nothing happens until you have practically finished it so you keep at it wondering when something is actually gonna happen. I didn't care for her "fairy tales" throughout the book found them rather annoying. Not what I wanna read when I'm trying to figure out what the heck is going on. But all in all it was ok. ?

I chose this book as my #ScaryRead because I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it & because I haven't heard many people talk about it. When you think Dracula sequel you think oh no 🙈 but I loved it and thought the authors did a great job of continuing the story and in such a believable way. Hope some of you will give it a try. #AllHallowsRead
