Book 195 🎃
Book 195 🎃
Holy crap!! And to think that this is quite possibly a true story. There were many eyewitnesses to the paranormal activity. I never would have survived a hunting for as many years as the Bell family did! The only downfall is that this book wasn‘t broken down into chapters. It was written in a letter format, from a father to his daughter. Now I need to watch the movie that is based on this story.
I participated in two Secret Santa swaps this year (including the #librarything). Here‘s the booty. More mystical reading for 2021. I‘ll feel a lot better after my first Covid vaccine today! #stillasciencebeliever
Last bit of #BookMail came in today. I'm so excited to read this one! Has anyone heard about it or read it?
DAY 1: This #AmericanHorror took place not far from where I live. According to local lore, in the early 19th century, a shapeshifting poltergeist know as The Bell Witch tormented the Bell family, eventually killing the father. I don‘t do ghost stories, but I‘ve heard this book is pretty good. It‘s the basis for the 2005 film An American Haunting.

First mistake was listening to this on audible. He narrator was seriously awful. Second mistake was thinking that it was going to be a scary ghost story. This was seriously so boring and disappointing. This was the pick in my book club this month and it was definitely a dud.
#witchreads to gear up for the fall season! A few I need to read at some point! Looking for all witchy recomends too!!!
