I read a lot of romance YA as a teen since I was in high school in the Twilight era, but as an adult it was A Hidden Fire by Elizabeth Hunter and Master of Crows by Grace Draven that got me back into reading and hooked me on romance.

This is a book I read because it came in the #whodunitbymail postal book swap (originated with @Marmie7 and last read by @BookishBelle.) I enjoyed it more than I would have expected - future librarians, romance in the archives, mysterious documents, and vampires that always have giant personal libraries. There were a few points where I was planning to stop when the next chapter ended but then something would happen and I had to keep going!

I really liked this #whodunitbymail pick! The writing, plot, and characterization were good. I was a little let down my the ending but I suppose that gets resolved eventually. May have to put the next one on my tbr. I don‘t have a pic and I‘ve already sent it along on its way.

Biel agrees that the smell of chicken broth bubbling away in the crockpot downstairs is a bit torturous especially bc we‘re hungry. (I know I‘m hungry. I always assume she is.) Can‘t go back to sleep so I‘m up reading. #CatsofLitsy

Totally loved this paranormal #romantsy novel. A fun vampire 🧛‍♀️ meets wannabe librarian story. A #blameitonLitsy guilty pleasure. When I wasn‘t reading this weekend, I was downtown by the water. The weather was glorious.

Paranormal romance between an age old vampire and a newbie (or rather to be) librarian. Picked it up primarily for the latter but this was good. Not overly done with the smut, the descriptors, or the emotions. It took a little bit to find its feet but the characters are distinct and clear. I also didn't want to punch the heroine in the face, which can sometimes be my reaction some books in this genre, so that's a winner right there :) Bk 1 of 4.

If you've never read Elizabeth Hunter or her Elemental Mysteries series go get it NOW!! They are sooo good and she rarely puts them on sale. Snap them up while you have the chance. #elizabethhunter #elementalmysteries #oneclickit

Two books in two of my favorite series are on sale today!! The free one is also the first in the series - it's a great #paranormalromance involving lots of #bookishfun

So after driving y'all crazy with all the novella postings, it comes down to this: I clearly love this series. I read the Elemental World series first and while that wasn't a problem, I wish I had gone in order and read Elemental Mysteries first. I also wish I had ignored my distaste for novellas and read those as I went, instead of in one batch, as they added info it would have been nice to have. If you love fantasy, check this series out!

Read the omnibus of all 5 Elemental Mystery novels (which isn't showing up in the search feature), much better than I was expecting. Recommend if you're into supernatural romance. Omnibus available on Scribd.
