I needed a quick, driving around book the last few days to finish a Kindle Challenge so I picked this holiday novella reread from my Kindle library. It makes me want to read the whole Half-Moon Hollow & Jane Jameson series again.
March was a tough month - 3 excellent books, all 5+ stars. Had to pick one, and it‘s never wrong to pick Michael Wood! He‘s one of the greatest authors ever 🥰🥰🥰 Today was a horrible day. I was reading on the train when a drunk man came, sat next to me. First he verbally assaulted me, then he hit me on the head. No one did anything, no one said anything. He got off the train, came to the window and continued his abusive behavior. #12booksof2025
pan2✨ This is not my favorite in the series. I had trouble keeping the characters straight because she is an assassin looking for her brother. Going undercover she has a different name, a real name, and a code name. Normally I like an enemies to lovers, but this time I just couldn‘t get into their romance. I still like a strong female lead, and the unique storyline.
so-soI‘m not gonna lie, Nolan was starting to piss me off so bad with how he was pushing Harriet, esp considering her abuse and trauma responses, but it‘s fine. I‘m fine, they‘re fine. I have a lot of questions tho that I hope are answered in subsequent books, but I guess I‘ll find out next Sept. In terms of Christmas vibes? Immaculate.

pickThis was ok- better than so-so- low pick but good for a filler and hea style. She‘s searching for connections with long lost family, he‘s part of a generational curse. There was some confusion where I think the story could have been filled in and some places it dragged. it is a bit spicy.
