pickThis was a bubbly, fun read, with lots of humour and just enough plot to keep you going. The MMCs actually communicated with each other, which feels like it‘s becoming a rarity in romances, and which I greatly appreciated. Reggie and Amelia are both charming characters, lovable in their own ways and with their own believable motivations. Some medium spice to top it off makes this a great read — light fare, for sure, but a good time.
This is my first book by Molly Harper. I‘m really enjoying it so far. Paranormal books in audio format are real hit or miss for me. Sometimes the narration is just not good. I‘m glad that‘s not the case here. I‘ll definitely be giving more Molly Harper books a try.
pickI really enjoyed this one even though I wasn‘t the biggest fan of Reggie in the first novel. It was fun, light and super sweet. It had some really funny parts which really worked with Reggie‘s character and played on the vampire lore.
Can‘t wait for the next one in the series!

so-so3✨ The second book in this series follows different characters while checking in with our previous vampire like couple. We learn more about the world and the people in it, but learn the more werewolf side of this world. I felt more steam punk in this one than the first. I think I liked it a bit mrore than the first book as well.
I'm having some difficulty taking this book at all seriously after learning that the members of the Black Dagger Brotherhood are named Wrath, Rhage, Tohrment, Phury, Vishous, Zsadist, and... Darius. Like, what the actual hell is up with that? And I mean all of that. And do I care enough to find out if we find out?
New reading spot after I rearranged two rooms (not quite done). I need to detail clean under furniture so why not! Listening to the tagged while I‘m cleaning and rearranging.
