I started to read the Outlander series again. Outlander is my favorite book in the series 😊
My local book store. Blind date with a book! Love the idea 😊
This beauty finally found its way to my home 😊 I've been looking forward to reading Beartown for a while now. It's a cold rainy day today, perfect for a cozy afternoon with a book📚 and a cuppa☕
My first book of the new year. I'm only on chapter 4 but so much has happened already. Really like it so far😊
Started reading Lilac Girls today. It's been on my TBR pile for some time. Finally have time to read it! Didn't want to rush through it!
Yay for bookish mail😊Received this beautiful book sleeve and some goodies today. I love it! ❤ Thank you @bookgogo

June is almost over and I just now remembered to pick my #kindlefirst 😲 Better late than never! I love historical fiction. Now to find the time to read it...
I love her books and been wanting to read this book for months. I was lucky and won a copy last week☺ Started reading yesterday and so far I like it! It's definitely a change from her usual rural fiction she writes.
@lazuliwaves83 Thank you so much for everything! I haven't read any of the books before but they are right up my alley 😍 I love the origami flower! Thanks for the kit. The bookmarks are so cute!

I am really into Norse Mythology and loved this audio book! Neil Gaiman also narrated the book and it was fun listening to him tell the stories. He told the stories with a modern twist and I think he did an excellent job. I certainly was entertained! This was my first book by Gaiman. Not sure which one of his to pick up next. #norsemythology #Gaiman
This was a kindle first pick a few months ago. Sounded really interesting. I liked it but the story had much more potential. A light read on a rainy day.
My #summersantagoespostal is on the way to my secret person☺

My current read! Came across it while shopping for bookish gifts. I grew up watching Sissi movies with Romy Schneider and became very interested in the life of the Empress #historicalfiction #sisi
I just received my #summersantagoespostal 😊 I dont know if I can wait til it's time to open. I'm so nosy 😊
@BookishMarginalia
Just started this new audio book. Only 4 Chapters in but wow....

Recovering from my second dental surgery in 2 weeks. Need something easy to read. Love her books❤ #ruralfiction #aussieauthor
I really was looking forward to reading this one. The story started out promising but halfway through the book I actually lost interest and put the book aside to pick it up a few days later. I had to force myself to finish it. Some parts of the story just didn't come together for me.
Meribeth is a busy working mom. So busy taking care of her husband and children that she ignores all the signs of a heart attack. She realized that this is a huge inconvenience for her husband. Without her running the household he is pretty much useless. She had enough and packs her bags.
I thought it was a good read. At times I could relate to Meribeth but I'm not sure if her issues were resolved at the end.
Yay, my aunt sent me a care package with books and tea😍 They're in my native language, German. Been looking forward to reading them!

Thank you so much @ErinC 😊 I love the books and the other goodies😍 I've been meaning to read Who do you love and The Swan Gondola sounds great ☺
Thanks @BookishMarginalia for organizing #CupidGoesPostal
I love books set in small towns or the Australian Outback. I don't care that this book is a Christmas novella. I was just in the mood to read it ☺
#Australian #ruralfiction
Another classic read. I love the books by Jules Verne and this on is just as great as all the other ones I have read.

Started my next audio book while finishing my knitting project. So far I really like it and definitely recommend it!

I listened to the audio book while knitting. It's a nice cozy mystery. Pepper Reece is the owner of a spice shop in Seattle and a murder happens right in front of her store. Everything is explained with so much detail, it felt like I was with her at every location. I'm definitely going to check out more books of the series!

Just received my #CupidGoesPostal parcel 😊 Can't wait to open it. Of course my dog was nosy😂

Just finished my first book of the year. I really liked it! A book about books in a small town setting. I could really identify with Sara. Of course the story became very predictable at some point but I'm still glad I read it!☺📚
Mailed my bookish gifts today 😊

Finished my goodreads reading challenge. I set myself a realistic goal to read 30 books this year and ended up reading 35. So glad I found litsy! I discovered so many books this year...
#goodreadschallenge
This was my first book I read with serial reader. I love the concept. I loved Doctor Thorne from beginning to the end. While the ending, and much of the story, was predictable it is written with humour and I found myself laughing more than ones.
#serialreader
Thank you so much @BarbaraTheBibliophage !😊 I've been wanting to read Little Beach Street Bakery! I love the sign and my bookmarks and the book of poetry is really nice. I like poetry but didn't have any books until now. ❤ Merry Christmas

The more books I read by this author, the more I like her! #australian #ruralfiction
I really wanted to like this book. After a great beginning it just became ridiculous and too far fetched for me. Poppy Day's husband Mart gets deployed to Afghanistan. She gets the disturbing news that Mart is being held captive by terrorists. Not satisfied with how things are being done to rescue Mart, she is determined to get him back home, no matter what. I was an Army wife once and relate to her frustration, the plan is just too unbelievable.
I just finished the audio book. Well, overall I thought it was an okay read. Four women take a knitting class and of course each of them has their personal issue that they struggle with. I usually don't read this author but I'm giving the other two books in the "Blossom Street" series a go since they're available on #hoopla
With an important subject like this, the book had a lot of potential. I just couldn't connect with any of the characters. Jumping from character to character to tell the story was a bit much and made it hard to follow at times.
These are the book I managed to read for my first #readathon. I really liked the #Elsker Saga. A mortal falling in love with a Norse god. What's not to like about that😉
I've been hooked on Australian Rural Fiction for the past year. This is a medical story set in the Outback. Almost half way through and I like it a lot! #australian #ruralfiction
I really enjoyed this story! Nina is a big city librarian. After the library branch closes, she is out of a job and decides to open up a book mobile in a small town in Scotland. It's a sweet story. A little predictable but I don't care. Now I'm gonna look up other books by this author.
Uncle Tom's Cabin is been on my #TBR pile for some time. Starting to read it on #serialreader as well.
