Brianna from the Outlander series is one of my favorites. There is a dearth of fan art that is not based on the tv actress. This is by Mograinne on DeviantArt.

I enjoyed the first eight novels in this series from
2014 - 2016. I just discovered this 60 page novella exists. Seems a perfect way to finish out the month.

Scochrane26 I also love the Lord John books 3w
dabbe Thanks for this! I can never get enough of Jamie and Claire! 🖤🧡🖤 3w

Roary47 This would be fun to read as a chapter/ # pages a day with a group. I‘ve never read them, but chunks at a time would be nice. 1mo
dabbe @Roary47 Hmm. I think you may be right. Maybe in the new year? 🖤🧡🖤 1mo

JenlovesJT47 @dabbe I got behind on the show and recently caught up on the last 2 seasons and now I am obsessed again! Doing a rewatch while I wait for the new season next month. 💚 1mo
dabbe @JenlovesJT47 I need to do a reboot, too! I\'ve read every book except the last one, and I\'ve never seen the shows. 😱 I\'m afraid they won\'t live up to my expectations--especially the vision I have in my head of Jamie. 🤩 1mo
JenlovesJT47 @dabbe I‘ve only read the first three books but the show is so good! Sam Heughan is 😍🤤 and Claire is awesome too. The acting is top notch imo. 1mo
dabbe @JenlovesJT47 I just may have to check it out. 😘 1mo

The Outlander re-read continues. There were details I'd either missed or forgotten in this one. It's interesting to see how things are slightly different every time I read. #53-2024 (This one is actually #53. I messed up my count before)

So, some things don‘t change. 🫠 I still can‘t write reviews timely. But at least I got through it. I am in new territory. It was still emotional, a roller coaster and a story of growth with some heartbreaks and triggers (🔥😭😞) but some positive stuff, too. I am excited about the next book, but then I think I will actually be done?? 🥹🤔🙏🏻 #recentlyread

I enjoyed this book. Historical fiction/romance. The characters were interesting and engaging. Overall I really liked both the leads, though they also both had traits that I found off-putting. Definitely a lot of spicy scenes peppered throughout. Also, some very graphic descriptions of torture (both physical and psychological); I'm not usually squeamish, but even I found it disturbing. But overall, recommend (if you can handle spice and torture).
