Because I wanted a blind date!☺️ BookMarkPR displayed these mysterious, interesting dates. They were all around in a table looking at me and I said to myself, why not, let see what you got darling!🤔And I choose these three. Gissy @JackOBotts I love that activity! You can always swap with friends if you don't like what you chose. In all the blind dates I had participated only in one occasion I didn't like the book but someone wanted it, so I exchanged it. 6y

I loved it and posted about it but didn‘t buy one because it felt too risky. This year I decided to BE BRAVE and go for it!! Y‘all inspire me! One book claims to be for lovers of Narnia and The Girl Who Drank the Moon: ✔️. The other appeals to lovers of Fangirl and Everything, Everything: ✔️. Stay tuned!

Don't do that! He seemed nice but was much older than me. I found out that he kinda preyed on young ladies.

I married my blind date. My husband and I met 23 years ago on a blind date. Our 3rd date was on Valentine's day, and instead of a box of chocolates, he gave me a big bag of Reese's cups. I had made an offhand comment on our first date about not loving chocolate but being obsessed with Reese's. I went home that night and told my mom I'd met the boy I was gonna marry. And 6 months later I did. ❤

Well, the #blinddate I most remember is a friend of a friend in college. We were introduced while we were all on campus over the summer. We enjoyed the summer together and then he moved to the Dominican Republic to teach. Fast forward 12 years and he comes near where I live to speak at a conference and we have a nice dinner. He‘s Jewish and I‘m goy so it was doomed from the start anyway. 😂

I was once set up by a friend. It was lightly snowing and the atmosphere was perfect for a date. 5 minutes in, he turns to me and remarks, "I don't really get music." Now, I love all music, and it went down from there. I inconspicuously texted a cop friend who arrived, and escorted me to his patrol car and we drove away. I never heard from my "date" again. I did however marry the cop. ?

This is kind of embarrassing, but I‘ve only ever been on one blind date, and it was so incredibly boring that I don‘t even remember very much of it. One of the smaller universities in North Louisiana was having their homecoming weekend, and my cousin happened to be a cheerleader for the team. She set me up with a pal of her fiancé‘s (he played on the football team), and that is pretty much it. Not very memorable, alas ?

LittleBug You mentioned in one of the earlier comments here that we‘ll be sending our swaps out to the same person that will send us one. However, I just discovered I‘m sending mine out to someone else... Did something go wrong or was the setup changed and I just missed it? 6y

BeansPage @LittleBug no sweetie nothing went wrong. some of the matches are completely random but in order to cut down on shipping cost for everybody I had to make some matches the same sending and receiving. I did my best to save money for you guys as much as possible. 6y

BeansPage @geodynamical I'm actually old fashioned an I use pen and paper to do the matches. I used Google forms for the sign ups though and then I just copied and pasted them on to the appropriate email for everybody's matches. 6y
