What I love about Litsy are the friendships. I didn‘t really have any “book friends” IRL…and then found Litsy. I love the community, the challenges, the swaps, my penpals and especially the people who like to read what I do and all the wonderful reviews and suggestions of what to read.
Tha k you so much for the giveaway @CSeydel
Because I don‘t have enough to read. 🙌🏻
In light of all that is happening today….maybe not the best time to read this if you have a weak heart. 🤦🏼♀️😬🫣

Now I have read all her books. This was one dysfunctional family! Best part of the story was it took place in northern NJ where I spent most of my life. I knew all the towns…kind of like a visit home.
#Bookspin and this one #Doublespin read.
@TheAromaofBooks
🙌🏻
1. Daffodils They were always a sign of spring when I lived in NJ.
2. Fresh Water for Flowers was the first book to come to mind. A favorite!
@TheSpineView #Two4Tuesday
I had to drive to the library and read the missing pages. 😳
A moment of zen. Those antlers! (Sorry, not book related)
Thank you Adam Grant.

Oh great.
I chose this book as my favorite because I absolutely loved the audiobook. Not my genre but after not being able to pay attention and bailing on a few audiobooks….this one grabbed me. Leads me to believe maybe I‘m just in a mood for romantsy audiobooks? We shall see.

The lovely @Texreader has reached a milestone! And she is kind enough to have a Giveaway. Check her page for details.
What I like most about Litsy is the community of book lovers. Everyone is so very kind and welcoming. I don‘t know how many times I have called many of you, when talking to others, my book friends. Because you are.
Great month. Four wonderful books.

Top 3
Gone With the Wind, The Godfather and Forrest Gump (if I had to pick 3 because there were so many I could have picked).

3. The Grateful Dead. Their music always calms me.

Is your library next? Is this what you voted for?
Sue, thank you so very much for sending this lovely book. I look forward to reading it. If you enjoyed it chances are I will, too. And this card is beautiful-I put it up on my shelf. 😘 my friend.
@Suet624
My 2 biggest joys are my Valentine‘s card from my grandson. He knows I love books so he made a cover of a Stephen King book, Harry Potter and coffee. Kid so gets his Nana.
Also it‘s going to snow for 2 days so lots of reading…that‘s 2 joys. And the last is peace and quiet because my husband will be skiing. 🤣
Happt Valentine‘s Day! ❤️

Oh wow…did I love this.
Thank you, sweet friend. I smiled when I saw this was from you. I have something for you, but I am stuck home with pneumonia so will mail when better (whenever that is). I so look forward to reading this and I love our book friendship. 😘
@Jas16
I am reading the most popular Tournament of Books books. Perfect way to get out of a little slump. This one is just wonderful!
#weekendreads @rachelsbrittain
Beautiful.
It was either Earth or Fire. Earth won. I can‘t wait for Air.
Today the wolrd lost a very good girl. Lou was my daughter‘s best friend‘s dog. She lived with her for years and Lou even stayed with us for weeks during Covid. RIP, sweet girl.
@Chrissyreadit My sweet friend…you are always so kind and generous. Thank you so much. Where did you find the time to send me such a lovely gift. I am thrilled about the books and my husband is thrilled about the treats! 🤣 Sending you hugs and gratitude. I will write tou back soon. I think I may have bronchitis 😬
My BOMC choice. Murder, family drama….checks my boxes.
Read this today. Harriet Tubman comes back to present days and connects with a music producer to tell her story of life and slavery. Sounds weird but it worked….very good book.
