I did worse on this week's 13% BUT it was interesting to see how many movies were remakes decades later.

dabbe @TheBookgeekFrau Excellent distinction! Thanks! And you are so right--we also had monster movies, but those were usually the Saturday TV matinee or after. I remember watching THE CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON on a Saturday, and I was scared for months! 🤩 1mo
TheBookgeekFrau @dabbe The only horror movie I remember from my single digit years was The Blob and being terrified more bc my father used to tell the jelly monster would come if I stayed up too late 🙄🤣 Godzilla would make me sad and worried for him! I didn't quite understand that when he went back into the ocean he was going home. I'd cry myself to sleep for days; until I worried about the jelly monster again😂😂 1mo
