Good morning!! Has anyone else gone back to a book they haven‘t read in years and forgotten so much it makes them wonder if they even read it the first time??? Because me....🙋🏻♀️....that would be me.
I have found my new audio! Coming in at a whopping 40+ hours, this should keep me occupied for a while. I have already read this one in hardback, but came across book four and since it‘s been a while, decided to start over with #1 in the series. For those of you who think this book doesn‘t sound interesting, please give it a go. Ken Follett did some AMAZING work with this one. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. *all the stars*
What are some of your favorite fiction audiobooks? I usually listen on my way to/from work and just finished Circe. I LOVED it! Now I need a new one to get into and fortunately I have two or three credits on Audible to spend....
I think I‘m somewhere in the middle of 3 books and 1 series, so I really don‘t need to start another right now.....but I glimpsed this one on my bookshelf and, “Hey, why not?” It sounds interesting! So book number 5, here we go!
Next up! I‘m just a few pages in and have already brought out the big guns....my highlighter! Looking forward to getting into this one!
This is the July selection of a book club I‘m in. 27th day of the month and I‘m just getting started... 🤦🏻♀️ Gonna try to finish this one this weekend.
Did a little reading at the river yesterday.... the most beautiful scenery!! I‘m on book 4 of the Anne of Green Gables series...taking it way back!
I told myself I had a FREE library membership where I could get my audiobooks. And that line of thought worked....until it didn‘t. I caved. 🤦🏻♀️
My spoils from this weekend. 16 in all! I think I made some good choices now that my addict haze has faded. I see a few Oprah picks which is better than NYT Top 100, I‘m pretty sure! #bookaddict
“I don‘t need any more books....”. Y‘all....this place. Gottwalls Books in Macon, GA. I lost my entire mind.
Starting a new one while watching the Pens vs Blackhawks tonight. Going to see how long I last before sleep takes over. #nightreads
I love nothing more than a book that opens your mind to something new. I‘m really enjoying the way this book points out the difference in perspective, almost without the reader noticing what they‘re truly getting. #hiddengems
Finishing this one up while waiting for the doc to come in. Just a routine physical, but Blah all the same.
This may be a new addition to the list of my very favorite quotes... “She didn‘t read books so she didn‘t know that she was the world and the heavens boiled down to a drop.” 💛💛💛
Cracking up at Janie describing her new husband! Fat pone of fat back of his neck, Toe nails look like mule foots, don‘t want to stir up the air while he‘s in bed.. 😂😂😂😂 Poor guy just isn‘t doing it for her!
Starting a new one today! Pretty excited about this one. It‘s been on my TBR for a long time!!
A cozy fire would add nicely to this morning. It‘s finally starting to get a little chilly here! Otherwise, my favorite weekend morning routine. 📖☕️
This time change has me messed up! Gonna see how long I last with this one tonight.
This is my first read by this author so I‘m not sure if the lack of punctuation in conversation is a “thing” or not, but I do know that it makes me a little crazy reading it this way. 🤪🙅🏻♀️
Nothing like finishing a book first thing in the morning! I loved this one!! So much heart wrapped up in a story with unfortunate circumstances, missed opportunities, and things said badly. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
You can‘t tell from the picture but it‘s pouring rain outside, so I spend my morning reading to the sound of raindrops, and this is perfect. 👌 My kinda morning.
This is a tough one for me. Lots of unpretty life and bad choices that can‘t be undone. Definitely a good one though! Got my coffee and jumping right in the deep end this morning!
1. Other. I‘ve never understood the pumpkin hype!
2. Love a good cup of coffee.
3. Scarves!
4. Of the two, candles.
5. Chocolate. All day!
6. Red
7. Bubble bath. It‘s impossible not to look glamorous in bubble bath.
8. Bookmarks and refrigerator magnets on trips, and of course, books.
9. A friend of mine was Rosie the Riveter one year and I quite loved that idea.
10. Bats and Cats because I love animals.

Onto book 2 of the series with only a slightly more exciting Kindle cover. More reading in the dark!! #kindleisthebest
Wish I could skip class and read, but this is math and it is currently whipping my butt. Haven‘t heard this stuff in years!! Instead, I‘ll read until we start.
My favorite reading partner. Always by my side. ❤️❤️❤️ 😺 #catsoflitsy
A little SUPER early reading courtesy of my Paperwhite. #whyilovemykindle
Don‘t judge a book by its cover...or lack thereof. Up next! This is the first of the series Amazon had on sale a week or two ago. Lots of positive reviews! This is my first YA in a while so I‘m excited!
After working outside a few hours, I think I‘ve earned a little reading break. 📖
Next up! Thought maybe I‘d warm up the ol‘ Kindle this time! This one‘s been sitting in my TBR for a while. Going in a lighter direction after the last two. (Rising Strong, Brene Brown and This is How, Augusten Burroughs)
Well, I WAS reading.... 😺. Oliver hasn‘t quite mastered the art of subtlety. 🤣🤣 #catsoflitsy
Talking about regrets, this is a quote from George Saunders I found interesting. I‘ve never thought of kindness in terms of mild vs strong or reserved vs aggressive.
Just finished this audio. The narrator‘s voice adds the perfect amount of creep to the story. Really enjoyed this one! 🌟🌟🌟🌟
It feels fantastic out this morning. Getting a little early morning reading done before the sun makes its full appearance.
Next up!! I‘ve been wanting to try Brene Brown‘s books for a while now. Let the weekend begin!!
Hoping to finish this one up tonight. My little buddy is keeping me company while I read. ❤️❤️😺 #catsoflitsy
1. HR Administrator, also soon to be a part-time student!!
2. Working in the co-op program at my school, I was a secretary at a church.
3. Best - my current job. Worst - at a cable company (lots of cattiness and back- stabbing)
4. I‘ll say a travel blogger. I‘m working on that now.

This thing with wearing sunglasses to combat the 11,000 degree heat....does it make sense to anyone else?? I read that like 🤨🧐🤔. Nope. Maybe he meant sunscreen??? Or maybe I got lost somewhere....🤪
If I were to make a scale, this would be in my top 5. Early morning when the world is still asleep and the bite is still in the air, reading while my little man watches the birds wake up. A nice, hot coffee is the only thing that would make this better. ❤️❤️❤️❤️. Happy Sunday, everyone!!
Up next!! I‘m pretty excited about this one. Should be fun!!
Starting my Saturday with a little coffee and a little Hemingway. My kinda morning!! 📖☕️🌥
This one was fantastic on audio! Narrated by Prentice Onayemi (I looked it up because he deserves a name drop!) and I think one other person (couldn‘t find a name). Beautifully done, including a little singing!! I looked forward to getting in my car each day. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
