Another signed book. This is an old favorite.
I bought this book because the cover is gorgeous. Luckily the book is good.

After reading this YA fantasy romance by Sherry Thomas, I have only two questions. What genre can't Sherry Thomas master? And where are my Lady Sherlock books? The downside of organizing your book shelves is the realization that people are not returning your books. LOL
This is a wonderful adventure set in both Victorian England and a magical realm. The heroine is the prophesied elemental mage who will destroy the tyrant of Atlantis.
This novel introduces a new set of characters in the world of the Others. There is no real mystery; the bad guys are known. Yet the reader is drawn into the world of the characters and their fragile alliances and friendships.
Another wonderful suspense novel to add to my shelf. The heroine was perfection, foul-mouthed, gutsy, smart, and determined. Most of the story involves the training of an IT geek to be part of an elite top secret fighting force. But Howard should have spent more time on the romance at the end of the book. After teasing the reader with the sexual tension for the majority of the book, she should have rewarded the reader with.more interaction.
Ever After boxes are having a sale. I am so pleased with my recency box.
The Gilded Cage by Vic James was my favorite book of 2017. The sequel, Tarnished City does not disappoint. My full review is on my blog, www.wavingmyfreakflag.com. I am thrilled that Vic James quoted my review.
Love this cookbook. Fresh, delicious recipes. The recipes are easy to follow.
In this Christmas romance, Sheriff Buck Grissom gives shelter to two runaways, Scarlett O'Hara Scraggs and Farrah Fawcett Scraggs. But the girls' criminal grandfather and Scarlett"s rejected suitor are now coming after Buck. Humorous and light hearted, this is a fun romance.
The sequel to Stillhouse Lake exceeded my expectations. I loved Stillhouse Lake with its gritty survivor heroine, Gwen. But Caine infused this novel with the same foreboding. In this novel, Hwen finds all her fragile alliances shattered. Even her children have condemned for crimes she didn't commit. Abandoned, she must defend herself from a monster, her ex- husband.
In this final volume, Cat must conquer her insecurities. She has the power, but her self doubt hinders her. There is plenty of action in this action novel. I did miss the tumultuous relationship between Griffin and Cat. There are hints to a future series in this world. I hope there are.
A new book to read and chocolates.
I am suffering from a book hangover. The only relief is the fact that this is the first trilogy. The Cruel Prince is Holly Black's best work yet. It pleases on so many levels. Her characters are complex, multi-faceted creatures. The plot is fascinating journey with twist and turns. Black creates a vivid, vibrant world. Black challenges cliches and convention. I could spend hours discussing this book.
First book of 2018 was excellent. Higgins is an automatic buy. This story is about understanding ourselves and others. There is a lovely romance, but the story is about family and friendship.
My Book Oulet order arrived.
Love Anne Stuart. The cover is gorgeous and the story is fantastic.
Just started reading. Moore is a favorite author.
The long awaited sequel to Steeflower has arrived. It is only available in print due to piracy. I love Saintcrow's fantasy the best.
Annika Martin can write in any romance genre. This rom-com is fantastic. There are laugh out loud scenes. It is erotic. It is moving.
As much as I love Kristen Ashley, I did not love this story. Had to force myself to finish it. Even a genie couldn't save it. Heroine with low self esteem and martyr complex falls in love with.untrusting, controlling hero.
Finally arrived in the mail. Can't wait to start.
Susan Anderson is a seasoned writer. I have read her romantic suspense and her romantic comedies. This is a sweet yet sizzling romance featuring a second chance for high school lovers. Anderson makes the roaring 20s come alive.
Went to Snake River Comic Con and picked three books by inie authors. Running out of roim for my autographed novels.
This was my first experience with Annika Martin/Carolyn Crane. She is a fab writer whaterever the genre. And she sent me a signed peint copy. Fan gurl squeal!
The first book in the series was good, but this book is stellar. Quiet, nerdy Alan is one of the best heroes ever. His relationship with his adopted demon brother, Nick, is complex and beautiful.
This was a thoroughly satisfying read.Thomas has created a cast of fascinating, complex, and unique characters. She skillfully drops clues while leading the reader astray with misdirections. There are several mystery plots and subplots in this story. I only surmised one of the mysteries, the identity of Mr. Finch. As a reader, I look forward to more mysteries involving Charlotte Holmes.
An outstanding fantasy novel, blending elements of dystopia and steam punk. Maggie is a moon child, an outcast from even the lowest tier of the caste system. She has the rags om her back, the dubious protection of her clan leader, and her friend, Sparrow. Then a discovery of a brass dragon takes away everything.
Fellow readers have been praising Penny Reid for awhile. It is easy to see why. She combines humor and pathos in the right measures. Her characters ate well developed and fully fleshed out. I loved this story. The hero is off-the-scale sexy. The romance is sweet.
Dare always a solid romance. There is humor, romance, and hot sex, which are my three favorite things. This is a beauty and the beast retold wonferfully
The other side of the shelf, leather bond books and four more shelves of autographed books. I even have Elizabeth Peters and Jane Aiken Hodge. I have several mpre shelves to organize.
Organizing bookshelves today. My collection of Nancy Drew, three shelves of autographed books, several older sets, and my collection of books from the 70s.
I need to organize my library. Here is a pile of gothics from the 70s
