I read this book (Duology: Desperation/Regulators), when I was a freshman in college. I LOVED it! I need to re-read those one day. I really recommend Desperation if you like horror and gore.

I think this cover fits perfectly with today's prompt. This for sure looks like a nightmare on a street!!

But SK, never disappoints. Well... some endings, lol. But I love him. I don't have all of his books. I need to complete my collection. 3y

bthegood @Karkar I agree - I feel like this book actually is the origin story for Tak in some ways - I enjoyed this slightly more than Desperation due to that- getting a feel for what/how Tak works. 4y

CaffeineAndCandy I think all of the characters from Desperation were in the Regulators , at least the characters had the same name as the characters in Desperation. Yet I couldnt find the correlation of the two stories aside from the fact that the mine and the city of Desperation were not far away from the city in which the story takes place. The characters were different ages and had different occupations from those in Desperation. 🤷🏽‍♀️ 4y
