I love books set in autumn season and I love this season. For me, living in the tropic means, end of the summer, it will be a less hot weather😅
I‘m planning to read books with autumn vibes all over the year 🍁🍂 🧡 🤎 🧡

A bit late but here‘s my #bookspin for fall! I‘m so excited that it‘s fall and I can‘t wait to spend my weekends curled up in my bed with a book❤️
I am so excited for September and the cooler weather it brings. Hopefully with it will come more reading time. In any case, here‘s my #bookspin list for the month. Got a mix of library and owned books. I feel like I‘ve been trying to get through all my library books for months now and still haven‘t quite managed it 😅 @TheAromaofBooks
Here we go…September‘s #bookspin list! These are mostly carried over from last month. I swapped to a couple of beach reads instead of murder-y books (planning on saving those for October).
Can‘t wait to see what numbers you pick, @TheAromaofBooks Thank you for hosting!
Here‘s what I read in September. I read #libraryholds from Libby and I still have more #libraryholds to read. A lot of these books were on my Goodreads TBR for years so I‘m glad I finally read them. I still want to read what I own but I‘m not excited about my owned books right now so maybe it‘s a good thing I placed so many #libraryholds because I can just choose what I want to read and have the rest delivered later.
Listened to my fall playlist while doing chores, and marked the first item off my #bucketlist

Here is my September Recap w/Ratings. All my books this month are on Audio.
I also had 2 DNFs that are not pictured. They include...
𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑀𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝐷𝑒𝑎𝑑 𝑏𝑦 𝑇. 𝐾𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑓𝑖𝑠ℎ𝑒𝑟...this one I DNF'd mostly because the narration wasn't working for me.
𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝐷𝑒𝑎𝑑 & 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝐷𝑎𝑟𝑘 𝑏𝑦 𝐶𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑡𝑛𝑒𝑦 𝐺𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑...this one was because I couldn't engage in the story.
They both have Dead in the title...Hmmm.

I‘m at a conference with my sister this weekend, so reading has taken a back seat for a couple days. Except for New Old Me, which is homework! But it‘s very interesting.

I *think* I finally have my stacks together for September #bookspinbingo. Who knows, I may swap out before the numbers are drawn, but we‘ll see. In addition to the above, #20 is Fabric by Victoria Finlay. It‘s not arriving until next week, so it misses the photo op.
We‘re over halfway through August already, so it‘s almost time to celebrate our September Litsy babies!
The #birthdayfairies would love to add you to the Litsy birthday calendar, and to share #birthdaylove on your special day and if you‘d like that as well, please send your Litsy handle and birthdate to litsybirthdays@gmail.com.
Remember you can only apply for yourself so encourage your friends to apply too!

Got my September pages set up for next month in my bullet journal. So yay! I can‘t believe how fast this month is wooshing by! #bulletjournal #reading
Here‘s my final #bookspinbingo card for September! I had lots of library books for the month, so I didn‘t finish as much of my card, but I‘m happy with my results, including one bingo! On to October…
Today, I‘m sharing my September reading wrap-up as well as my reading stats from the Storygraph app. In September, I used my deck of color cards called The Secret Language Of Color Cards to choose my TBR and I had so much fun picking books that matched the cards. I only read 3 books. I started out with 5 books on my TBR and I added on 3 more books because I want to read all of my books.

After a slow start, I ended September by finishing 9 books in 7 days. 😱 That brings my total to 16 for the month - my second best of the year. I had some truly great reads (Wingwalkers and Under the Whispering Door being the standouts) and a few real duds, but overall I‘m pleased with September and ready for October spooky reads. 🎃 #septemberwrapup #septemberstats
A couple wonderful bingos for me this month.

I‘m torn between taking it easy this readathon or being ambitious...so we‘ll see where I fall. But in general I would like to be able to finish:
-18 Tiny Deaths
-Eye of the World
-Book Wars
-City of Stairs
And if I manage all that...I‘ll go on from there😅
#SuperSeptemberReadathon
Here is my September Bookspin Bingo Board.
#bookspin = Nightbitch by Rachel Yoder
#doublespin = The Stranger in the Mirror by Liv Constantine
I DNF'd Hostage and finished Bluff so they are marked off. The Book of Accidents is about 60% finished so I marked that one off already, too.
Forgot to post this yesterday 😅 whoops. Goals for this month are:
-To read at least 4 books
-Do yoga everyday (aside from yesterday due to illness)
-Go for a walk at least once a week
-Try to get myself to relax more/worry less & take more time for myself because I am not a machine and this stress will be the death of me.

I put together a #proposedtbr for September, including books for challenges, an intent to try to whittle away my extensive NetGalley queue, and finishing up books from August. In doing so, I came to a horrifying realization. I don‘t feel like reading. Anything. I would like to have read everything here, but I don‘t want to actually read anything right now, not even any of the other unread books on my shelves. 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺#horror
Lots of #BirthdayLove to spread around next month!! 🎉🎉🎉 The #BirthdayFairies are going to be very busy!!! ✨✨✨
Would you like to be included in the Litsy Birthday Calendar? It‘s easy peasey! Just send your Litsy handle and birthdate to litsybirthdays@gmail.com and look forward to celebrating your big day with your Litsy friends! Remind your friends to sign up too…the more, the merrier! 😊🎈🎈🎈
Unexpectedly, this was a pseudo continuation of The Shell Seekers, in that some characters reappeared. I loved this gentle tale. It makes me so want to visit Scotland again. Great characters, lush scenery, and enough intrigue to keep me guessing. I really liked this and it‘s going on my keep shelf. 4.5/5
Hmmm, let‘s just all pretend it‘s Thursday, shall we?! 😂😂 Thanks for the tag @Jerdencon
Not really, I‘m usually a mood reader. 🤷🏻♀️
Cereal, the dinner of champions. 😳😉🤣
She‘s All That, You‘ve Got Mail, While You Were Sleeping, any rom-com from the 90s.

A little late but nine down for September and I finished my 90th book for the year. Lots of catching up with various series this past month but some good reading overall. My faves were probably The Archive of the Forgotten and Skyhunter. I felt like I read more than this but that may be because I had five remaining books I was bouncing back-n-forth between at the end of the month that I didn't finish in time for this round up.
A round up of the books I read this month, whilst I anxiously await tomorrow‘s bookspin!
Having free spaces on #bookspinbingo is *such* a good idea - it meant that every book I read this month counted.
So I got two bingo lines, and read 4 books for #readingeurope2020 - only 1 more to go on that challenge!
Less books this month than I‘ve read for the rest of lockdown as I got a new job... pesky work getting in the way of reading!
Also, here‘s my September wrap-up. I read a lot of great books this month and completed my Goodreads challenge for the year, but unfortunately did not get a bingo 😔 if you played along in Sept tag me in your board posts, I would love to see how you did!
I‘ll tag all my Sept reads in the comments.
I did pretty well this month with taking care of myself and remembering #SelfCareIsNotSelfish
Will be posting my October's Bingo tomorrow.

I thought I might finish another book tonight, but a sudden migraine has killed that. Anywho...really happy with my September stats, especially after a couple of slow months. I enjoyed everything, no real duds, but the standout this month was The Bladebone. I‘m at 43/60 for Mount TBR, and I met my Goodreads goal of 80 with The Bladebone, and am at 85/80 now. 🥰 #septemberwrapup #septemberstats
Not a lot of reading this month. Still feeling in a bit of a slump I suppose. Just four for September.
On a positive note, I‘m enjoying the virtual Wigtown Book Festival and have several new TBRs as a result.

Blows my mind! I had been in a reading slump since February. Fell far behind on my yearly goal. Read some fantastic & some not so thrilling books this month. Thanks to all the #Littens who have kept me motivated. On to my favorite month of the year! 🧟♂️🧡

I didn‘t get through my goals but this definitely kicked me into high gear. Finished 7 books this week! Next time, I‘ll aim to be less specific. Thank you @Andrew65
