pickThis month I‘ll be reading the last title for the #destevensonreadalong, ‘Mrs Tim Carries On‘. But, I fell behind with the April title, and just finished, ‘Spring Magic‘. Even though this wouldn‘t make my top favorites list, I still loved this whimsical and delightful read. I found the title of the book, perfectly captures the spirit of the story, and this book ended up being the perfect read for the end of an enchanting spring this year.
It‘s a date night this Friday evening! Mr. S and I usually go out, but tonight I wanted to stay in & cook one of his favorites: homemade beef and ricotta meatballs, in tomato and basil sauce with warm flatbread. I‘ve been listening to an audiobook, whilst cooking, enjoying the last of the sunlight before it dipped below the horizon. The food‘s hot, so we‘ll eat, and then cuddle up on the couch, and watch a movie, his pick this time around. 🎥🍿
