When I did my journal #wrapup for March, I remembered I also helped me friends find their new cats. A good development, but it did cut into my reading time.

In any event, here‘s a more realistic #serieslove2025 plan for April. Four books instead of eight. 🤣

March #WrapUp

March was another great reading month. My top two picks are the tagged title and All The Colors of the Dark. Reading Eve has sent me down the Didion/Babitz rabbit hole which I‘ll be reading more of in April.

March #wrapup

11 read + 1 DNF:
1 short story
4 audiobooks
3 children‘s book
1 anthology
2 print

My pick for February is tagged. It‘s the third book in the Monster Hunter Mystery series.

I did finish a couple of carry over books from last month! 🙂

March was a really good month for me. I actually made a TBR plan and stuck to it. I even managed a few extra books! #wrapup

I have to go somewhere later today and don‘t think I‘ll finish anything else, so I‘m calling it for March. My reading pace slowed down a bit for various reasons.
-I couldn‘t find an #authoramonth book I liked
-Two book club selections that were a little long and I couldn‘t get into them until about midway through
-Getting ready for tax return prep
-The world in general 🔥

Nevertheless, I tore through SOTR and loved it.

February #wrapup

Life has been full of distractions and I‘m finding it hard to focus on my reading. I was lucky to finish these books last month, mostly for book clubs and buddy reads. I enjoyed all of them.

February #wrapup

9 read + 1 DNF:
1 short story
1 graphic novel
3 audiobooks
3 children‘s book
1 non-fiction

My pick for February is Rough Pages. It‘s the third book in the Evander Mills series, which I continue to enjoy.

Someday I‘m going to finish those carry over books. 🙂

Reggie How was the Hitchcock Hotel? 1mo
Bookzombie @Reggie I thought it was disappointing and maybe I misunderstood what it was going to be about. I thought it was going to have a little horror/fear and it doesn‘t. lol. I wanted lots of death and that didn‘t happen. Also, disclaimer: I have been in and continue to be in a sort reading slump and find I‘m struggling to connect to some books lately and this could have colored my feelings. 🙂 1mo
Bookzombie @Reggie Also, I didn‘t give a f**k about any of the characters that I can recall. lol. 1mo
