April #wrapup

Some great books this month. I did a first read of Rebecca and I absolutely loved it. Why did I take so long to read it? Trejos Tacos was a delight. Some great stories and the recipes looked delicious. I highly recommend Mexikid if you like graphic novels and Book Girl was the worst of the month. Very repetitive in formation and repetitive with books and authors the author chose to highlight.

April #wrapup #BookspinBingo

I still feel like my reading is off. I DNFed my #Bookspin and got a bingo. I ended up skipping #aam for the month.

Reggie You been ok? This month wasn‘t all that great for any of us reading wise. 3d
Bookzombie @Reggie I‘m okay. I think I‘m just distracted by other things. Thank you for asking. ☺️ How have you been? 2d
Reggie I‘m doing better. Work has been pushing me towards the edge a little lately but this week was a lot better. 17h
Bookzombie I‘m sorry that work has been rough lately. I hope it continues to be better, my friend. 💓 15h

It wasn‘t the best month for reading, but I managed to finish five books in April. #wrapup

BTW this book sounds adorable.

ShelleyBooksie What did you think of The Wild Inside? I'm still torn. 1w
Susanita @ShelleyBooksie I gave it a low pick. It was an interesting story and very atmospheric, but I didn‘t especially like the MC. Also, the animal cruelty was a bit much. 1w

The StoryGraph makes it easy to share my April #wrapup. Granted there‘s no info about titles or anything, but I‘m pretty lazy. Maybe later I‘ll post titles.

I don‘t read as fast or as much as other #littens, but I‘m pleased with my April reading.

Librarybelle I love the graphs on Storygraph! 1w
WorldsOkayestStepMom You don't have to be a fast reader to enjoy it! I haven't finished a book since February, but I'm enjoying the book I've been reading. 1w
Sace @WorldsOkayestStepMom I‘ve been working on it! My reading goals this year are to read more, count less and to just go where the books take me. I‘m trying to savor and not speed through. I don‘t think I read at all in February! 1w

March #wrapup #BookspinBingo

March has been a weird month. I sort of feel like I‘m in slump, but I still read stuff. I completed my #Bookspin and got a 2 bingos! I also read one for March‘s #aam pick, but I bailed on a couple.

No reviews posted. 😕

Total read: 9

Middle Grade - 1

Plus 2 short stories recommended by a friend a while back.

Reggie Girl, I was on fire in February with like 11 books and I‘ve managed 3 in March. Idk what‘s going on. 1mo

March #wrapup

A good reading month. Graphic novels have been a big help in getting me out of a little slump. Stand outs of the month are Heidi and Swans of Fifth Avenue. Now for next month, hoping to read more novels.

Two books for March book clubs. Two books for April book clubs. Two books read and returned to the LFL. One book read for #serieslove2024 with the next installment proving to be elusive.

My favorite read this month was the tagged book, though Tomorrow… is a close second.

Drnkpnkprincess I haven‘t thought about the house on mango street in over 20 years… might need to reread it one of these days! 1mo
