Having a drink in the library lounge
While travelling in Switzerland I sometimes stumble upon those tiny little gems in most unexpected places. This is an old telephone booth transformed into a open library. This one is situated in Prägelz close to Lake Biel. ?
Going to try curbside pickup at the library this week. If I don‘t, I‘m going to spend waaaaay too much money now that my concentration level is allowing me to read again. Has anyone else tried this at his or her library? #LitsyLovesLibraries
Small, tiny, little hotel library in Assuan. At least you can find some books, sometimes rather antiquated ones.
Visiting the German school in Dubai. Found this nice tiny library using an old German telephone booth. 🤩
Massachusetts has the best old libraries! This is where i spend my lunch time😄
Happy Friday, Littens! How‘s this for a library? 😍

Today I joined the American Library Association and the Michigan Library Association! They have a special double memberships for students! I'm going to try and go to the annual MLA conference here in Michigan this fall! 🤗💕📚 #librarylove #librariansoflitsy
My local library just posted this image on their Facebook page and I just feel like nothing more true has ever been said.....my room is atrocious right now....but yet, here I sit..... 📚😳🤷🏻♀️
1. I visit the physical building a couple of times a month, and OverDrive almost everyday.
2. Just three right now.
3. Two audiobooks and an ebook.
4. Nope! I‘m pretty good about that.
5. Seven (the limit).
6. Bad Blood.
I ❤️ the library! #librarylove @monalyisha
1. Once a week, usually—Fridays are library day! Sometimes also Mondays, when I have a break from my Monday class that coincides with the library book club.
2. Nine if you count both physical & electronic! 😬
3. Four print books (memoir, YA, and 2 fiction) and 5 comics on Hoopla.
4. Heck no! 😁
5. One title, but in two formats—the eBook is winning the race at this point.
6. Just the one: In an Absent Dream by Seanan McGuire

Just redid my home library and I love it! 💙
1. I use the library, but love going into bookstores. I love to see the piles of best seller, and see all the newly published books at the front. My current library doesn‘t do nice displays, so I miss that.
2. Our first RV trip to the Everglades. 🐊🐊🐊
3. The Heart‘s Invisible Furies
4. Overrated : The Song of Achilles. Ugh. Underrated: Any book by Wally Lamb
5 👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼to all my Litsy buds. #wonderouswednesday
Because you asked @Kalalalatja @SilversReviews
The ones on the left and one the right above are the ones she got me.
The ones on the right below are the ones I lent her and got back in return.
Unfortunately I already own all the artists' books, I think we bought them at the same time.
Any German Litten interested in them? 🤔
This morning, I read an article in The New York Times titled “12 Authors Write About the Libraries They Love.” I agree with Gaiman‘s vision of heaven.

For dessert tonight here in Portsmouth, we went around the corner to a restaurant that has become one our my all-time Top 5 easteries: #TheLibraryRestaurant!!! ???
Here's the site to check it out: https://libraryrestaurant.com/
I had a very delicious crème brûlée with a glass of cognac. The bartender/waiter also decided to give me ice cream and strawberries just because he liked us. ? Swell fella!

A pano of the pub room we ate our dessert in tonight at #TheLibraryRestaurant. 😁👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Sorry it's rather dark. Hope you can get a feel for the place! More pics soon, I've posted enough today to probably blow your top, lol. 🙈

At #TheLibraryRestaurant, your bill comes delivered by the server in a book rather than a typical black leather waiter wallet. 😱😱😱😱 WE LOVE IT!!! 😆😁👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Nothing like skimming a book while you wait for the card to be taken. 😎

This was the local branch of the Dare County Public Library system. Only a couple blocks from where we stayed! A great little library that was incredibly busy when we visited. 😁👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 #LitsyLovesLibraries
This was on my library receipt today. Wow, that‘s a lot of money. But, here‘s some more info, most of the books I check out are for my Kindle so those don‘t even count on this receipt. And, I have two library cards for two different counties. I‘m curious as to what savings I have for the other county. What I‘m really saying here peeps, use your library. Use. Your. Library. #useyourlibrary #booksandmovies

Had some extra time this evening, before meeting up with friends to eat dinner, so I stopped at THE LIBRARY!!! 😁
My Township‘s Library has finally reopened after many months of undergoing a major renovation! Today was my first visit, and my favorite part is the multitude of literary quotes on the walls!
😍😍😍😍😍😍
This sign will always put a smile on my face!
Been on here for over 2 years - finally hit 1000!
Books and wine in one place ❤️🍷📚📖 #nashville
Thought this was cool as I was walking through the Philadelphia Airport....a Virtual Library Hot spot...:)📚✈️
Lucky enough to work where I can visit this library! The Harvey Cushing and John Hay Whitney Medical Library is the central library of the Yale School of Medicine, Yale School of Nursing, and Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT. The Medical Historical Library possesses an internationally important collection of early and rare books, manuscripts, and other materials related to the history of medicine. #librariesoftheworld
A perfect day to simply read in my very own library with my 3 little babies 🐶🐾📚📖
#NoLies, yesterday I picked up my first library card since probably elementary school! Now I just have to get myself to use it....

Not sure to whom I should attribute this quiz, but it's fun!
📚 5yo. That was 40 (gulp!) years ago.
📚 Now, online more. When my kids were younger, definitely in person due to storytime, etc.
📚 Online, yes. In person, not quite that often.
📚 Absolutely. And the microfiche machines. 😉 Check the comments for a cute gift that I got for my mother for Christmas!
📚 When I go in person, 3 or 4. But I am constantly using Libby.
