Apart from IKEAs Billy Bookcases, how does my Littens store their precious ones?

I would like to invest in extra storage (my bookcases are full, as are my vertical ones) that needs to be portable, store a fair amount but also be stylish and on trend.

Would love a Penguin donkey but boy are they expensive!

Any suggestions?

So this has been 2020 in books... My best reading year so far!

My Boyfriend just asked me “Why do You need so many books? Can‘t you get rid of some? You have 3 shelves filled of our bookshelf....” 😳🤯🥺 We‘ve been together 5 years and STILL had to ask me this?!?! Most of my books are in storage because we don‘t have enough room for them, and a measly 3 shelves is NOTHING!!! I think my poor partner has lost his mind! 🤪🧐 #booklover #booksaremything #neverenough #handsoff

My husband made this! He‘s wanted to take on an IKEA built in book shelf hack and moving into our new home in late 2019 made it possible. He finished the project yesterday, and now it‘s time to load ‘em up! 📚📚📚📚📚📚🤗🤗📚📚📚📚📚📚

I'm so excited I just might wet my pants. The husband and daughter are putting my new shelves together as I type. I've got 6 bookcases already, but they're stacked 2 deep in most places, and i have books on windowsills, stairs, kitchen counters, pretty much every flat space. Maybe I should have bought more than two new ones. 🤔

I am rearranging my bookshelves and need inspiration to help organize all my unread books to make them easier to find. Right now all my TBR books are scattered across multiple shelves, in stacks, on my desk...basically everywhere. It makes it hard to find books to fill reading challenge prompts

I tend to not finish a book if I don‘t like it. I used to force myself to finish (an old school habit), but I realized that you don‘t need to finish a book to get something out of it.

Got all my new Christmas books on the shelf! Took forever because I had so many others from the past few months and not enough shelves. I've never stacked my books vertically before but I like how it breaks them up.

It‘s been a pretty sweet bookish weekend - starting with book club on Friday (discussing Her Body and Other Parties - so good!), assembling bookshelves and rearranging books at the homestead, and ending with volunteering at the library. 📚💜

I got the extra cabinet inserts for this one cause I‘d like some hidey-hole storage space that my cats can‘t access. Elliot has already tried to get in them from above. Cause if course. 😸
I anticipate the tidiness of these shelves will only last through the month... 😂

Tilney is inspecting my final bday presents (and early Xmas presents) from my sister (who is basically the best human and totally gets me)... I‘ll put these fantastic bookshelves together this weekend. Already plotting out what will fill them. 🎁💜😺

Bookshelves have arrived at the new place!!! 😁👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Can't wait to start building when I get home tonight.

First we painted almost every room, then a massive cleaning, then we've been doing carloads and a truckload from #MiddleEarth to the new place, then taking apart and re-building some furniture, and now new bookcases to construct!

Moves! AAHHH! 😱🙈😆

My shelves. Those 6 cubes? Yeah, those are the ones I've actually read. I need to stop going to the library for a while :(

So I mentioned before I was in the market for a new bookcase...and the company ended up giving us two and a half new bookcases...so to make room we spent the day yesterday moving furniture, building shelves and taking books down off of old cases so the moving could happen.

My cats, of course, decided to help as much as they could. Veeeeerrryyy helpful. 😸
