1. Despite why we‘re here, Brian & I are remembering to take care of us too.
2. Sherlock. I miss him but get a daily “Mornings with Sherlock” pic from home.
3. I have 2 coffee shops on island that I love & lots of ebooks & audiobooks to choose from.
4. Overnight, one area put up a dozen winter inflatables. I love the holidays here. (Wasn‘t expecting holiday music before Thanksgiving)

pickSuch a fun, cozy read. A scavenger hunt with the clues inside books and plenty of baked goods. Count me in.

A story of family, finding your way back to each other, finding yourself, finding your place and hope. Hoffman writes beautifully and even in a short story creates well developed characters and a wonderful setting.
pickFinished books 1 & 2 in this series. Both are #Roll100 & #readyourebooks books with the second being a spun book for November.
The FMC can be a bit grating at times but overall I enjoyed these cozies with a Sherlock based bookshop and tea shop setting.

Another lovely story and trip in the Holiday Adventure Club series. I feel like this one did a good job of balancing Lucy‘s story with those of her fellow travelers. I like how various members of the group find common ground and friendships.

*Christmas on Castle Street series is a subset of Redland‘s Whitsborough Bay series. @Andrew65 & I love this series. So cozy & a wonderful setting.
*Christmas River is a fun cozy mystery series that spans the whole year so many holidays are covered.
*Sarah Morgan writes fabulous characters & stories. Christmas Escape is set in Lapland!!! Holiday magic.
pickI received an ARC of this book 8 years ago. Adding it to my #Roll100 list and choosing it as my November #ReadOrDonate book finally got it read. I hadn‘t read any Swanson books and have now read a few this year. I‘ve liked all of them. This one was creepy good. I‘m glad I chose my #ReadOrDonate book before we left for the V.I. and I packed it!

Even with everything going on, Brian made sure I had a wonderful birthday.
He took me to some of my favorite places including my favorite coffee shop, beach & chocolate shop. He got a guava croissant & I got a pumpkin one plus our coffees. We had lunch overlooking the water. We basically had the beach to ourselves. On the way home he stopped & got me chocolate truffles & more coffee. It was a perfect day together.

1. Despite dealing with my father-in-laws health problems, we‘re reminded daily just how beautiful life and nature are.
2. Brian was able to destress and enjoy time with family we don‘t get to see often.
