There is a rotunda,off of which is Morgan‘s library, his office, his vault, & what was once Belle Greene‘s office. Now besides books,her office is filled with artifacts from various Morgan collections.The ceilings in all these rooms are gorgeous.

Seeing Renoir‘s progression from drawings to a painting allowed for a richer understanding of his works,be they in charcoal,pencil,chalk,water color,oils.

At Windsor Locks train station waiting for Amtrak to New Haven where we pick up the Metro to NYC. Going to the Morgan Library & Museum to view an exhibit of Renoir drawings. I have never bern to the Library so I am so excited!

We got about 8 inches- our roof is no indicator as it is not insulated- My son & I went outside- he to shovel the walks; me to revel in the snow. It is soft, fluffy, powdery- easy to move around in my snow boots.
Of course, coffee a must to warm me up once we went inside. ❄️❄️☕️

Woke to find that a mere inch or so of snow has closed the schools. Granted, it was an 11:30 am release but all you mid westerners & westerners deserve
