1) we had our Fall coffeehouse last night at the HS.I continue to be amazed at all the student talent in this small school! Categories: Poetry, short fiction,music-vocals, instruments,photography, visual arts, painting, digital art. 2) roses at the HS in bloom. 3,4) painted metal art on a medical office hallway I was in this week.5) painted rock found on the ground at my feet.

Finished watching Ken Burns‘s Leonardo Da Vinci. Gorgeous filming, but I agree with one review- part 1 was repetitious; part 2 was more engaging. The framed photo is one of Florence my husband bought in Italy.

Blumenthal, our US Senator was there,& spoke eloquently about his promise to keep everyone safe, introduce new legislation,etc. along with many other state & town officials.

Going to this rally today with my son with anticipation & joy. Also representing some students. Beautiful day, blue skies, in 50s. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ To quote @TheBookHippie “Joy is Resistance.”

Love love walking barefoot on the beach- but today i walked around my school building(shoes on!) noticing,listening,touching,reveling in the natural world around me.It was a windy day,with leaves swirling all around me. 💨🍁🌺🗿🪶🐦‍⬛ Many “altars.” #NFNovember

Sister Fidelma decides to go on a ship bound for the Shrine of St. James in an attempt to contemplate her commitment to the Irish Celtic Church, & her relationship with the monk,Eadulf.On board there are complications: her first love who broke her heart at 18 is aboard,violent storms & near shipwreck occur, & a series of murders intrude on her thought process. In the next book, Our Lady of Darkness,once on land Fidelma receives a harrowing note ⬇️

Of the 3 books I finished, Dissolution ranked first-new to me series, then The Rising Tide- Ann Cleeves never disappoints! The Antique Hunters Guide to Murder was an interesting cozy, opening up a previously unknown world to me. #serieslove2024 #readyourkindle

1) I cannot choose.Before the clocks moved back, I witnessed the sun rise on the way to work- starting my day that way made me feel such gratitude for our planet. Now that the sun sets so early, I have mixed feelings- I walk after work so I have to get out of the house immediately! Yet witnessing those sunsets are such a lovely way to say goodbye to the day. I cannot choose!
